Asus "warning" message spam... how do I turn it off?

I keep getting a warning message from the Asus AI suite while I'm in the middle of other things (like Borderlands 2), right in the middle of my screen...

"ensure to enable Capture & Send..." something or other.

Holy fucking mother of God, how do I make it stop?!?!

I can't find anything about how to turn this off.

Windows 8 64-bit, btw. Asus P8Z77-V Pro. Latest version of the AI suite as of the 7th of Dec.

I think it's trying to take screen shots. In their software is there an option to set it to a different key combination, something you'll never actually press?

i know this thread is old, but I installed for the first time Asus suite and while playing starcraft 2 I realized that Ctrl+1 is the shortcut for taking screenshots for Wifi go app (this is very annoying). Just go to settings inside Asus suite and uncheck WifiGo, if you don't want to uninstall the whole thing.

I had this problem today. You can resolve this without uninstalling ASUS Suite II by entering the WiFi Go settings (in ASUS Suite) and changing the hotkey to something you never use. Simply unchecking Wifi Go from the list of program options will not prevent the warning from coming up when you pres Ctrl+1.

Would you be able to post a screenshot of where this setting is? It's destroying me in SC2. And I don't have a wifi go. But I do have remote go.

Hello,

This is my first ever forum post so yeah, but i found a solution to the annoying control +1 bind!

-Start
-Search for "task scheduler"
-Open it...
-On the right hand side expand the soldier "Task Scheduler Library"
-Click on "ASUS"
-Click on "ASUS WiFi GO! Server Execute"
-Click on Disable on the left.
-Restart your computer.

This worked for me...

The only reason to use AISuite is when you're going for max overclocks and it won't boot any higher.

I keep getting stupid messages saying my voltages have dropped, or my fans are off, when they are obviously not. I have a bunch of other monitoring software going and nothing records any blips in voltage or fan speed. It's quite annoying, and I will uninstall once I'm done fooling around with it.

I know this thread is old but for the people who still want to know more about this, here's my answer. I think you can't have it hotkey-less (without hotkey) but you can have it like this - CTRL+(1-0) [any of the one-digit numbers] or ALT+(1-0). I was looking in it to change that hotkey and found out that only one key modifier + one number from 0 to 9 can be a hotkey for wi-fi go! capture & send screenshot capture, so only ALT or CTRL (not SHIFT though) with a number 0-9 can be a hotkey which is dumb. That said, there might be a way to mess with the registry or something like that (but i don't know about it, maybe true maybe false) They should have made ANY key to be set as hotkey and ANY number of modifiers with a key to act as one hotkey, like for example, as it can't be without a hotkey, I want it to at least be (CTRL+ALT+SHIFT+') cause I rarely use ctrl+alt+shift (except in world of warcraft where I use ctrl+alt+shift+(1,2,3,4,q,w,e,r,f) for puting target markers on people. BUT i set it to ALT+0 now anyway (which I still don't prefer but meh... it was the rarest hotkey i would use).

An old post but was still a problem for me...
I found in AI suite that's it's useless to desactivate WifiGo!
It's possible to change binding in the parameters of Capture & Send when Wifi Go! is activated.
What I did :
- (re)activate WifiGo!
- in WifiGo go to Capture & Send
- parameters
- here you can change binding (I put Alt + 0)
