This is truly an awesome laptop with an irritating problem I cannot get fixed. The problem outlined below was not an issue under Windows 8.1. It has only surfaced after the upgrade to Win 10.
It will intermittently not go into suspend mode. I will close my lid and the battery is at say 80%, go to bed, and pick it up the next evening and the battery is drained. The option in the power settings in setto suspend when the lid is closed.
I have opened a ticket up with Asus but they have been unable to solve it.
Things I have done to try and fix it:
- I have applied newest Asus firmware
- I did do an in place upgrade from 8.1 to 10. I have since did a complete reinstall of Win 10 with no change in this suspend behavior.
- I have also unchecked "allow this device to wake the computer".
Anyone have any ideas???
