This is odd.
I'm running my Duron 850 at 133fsb, so I had it at 933 for a while, and even at 866 I'm having problems..
I can get online, check email, browse sites, post on boards, etc.. However, for some strange reason if I go to any site and try to download a file, be it zip, exe, mpg, mp3, etc.. I can't get more than a few K into it and it won't go any further. Even with getright it seems I'm transferring in the bytes range, if at all.
Audiogalaxy? Nothing. Morpheus? Nothing.. maybe really slow, but a couple days for a few meg file isn't my idea of fun.
Any ideas? Dropping back down to 100fsb makes it work fine, but I find it really odd that the only problem I have is downloading files. The PCI bus is running at the same speed as it is for 100mhz, so I don't see what the big deal is. Anyone have this problem before?
And just one more bit, it doesn't matter which OS I use.. Linux and Windows XP have the same problem.
Thanks
