I know the regular version came with a free month, I don't know about the Collector's version though. I don't know if versions sold outside of the U.S. come with a free month either.

I can only assume it comes with the free month otherwise it would be the most dumbest marketing move ever for an online game like this

Yeah, I'm gonna guess all the versions of it come with a free month.

DVD version definatly has a month included. I upgraded from reg to the colector edition(thanks warcrow) and got a month added to my subscription.

Peace Bringers and War Shades. Aliens that bonded with heroes, basically. You are allowed to make them after you get a character to level fifty. I think you can only make them on the server that you have the level fifty character on, though.

No, once you have one character at level 50, you can make Peacebringers or Warshades on any server.

Well, I finally got my copy of COH in.

I'm definately there, but I just don't know when....I just moved into a new house this past weekend and I'm getting married a week from Saturday.

I created yet another new player... a Dark/Mental Defender. Jeez, what's wrong with me? He's up to level 5 and has a power thats called mental lance or something to that effect... It's range is insane and it can kill a blue with one hit... and almost kill a white. huzzah!

Pysionic Lance I believe....it's a snipe. The Dark secondary also gets Moonbeam at lvl 4 which is equally as powerful and long ranged. I used it from 4-6 to pull yellows and oranges out of groups.....it would take half their life with the first hit. With the Dark primary, you'll be able to debuff or fear an entire group and have plenty of time to use your snipe attack even in the middle of a bunch of enemies. As you move up though, it does proportionately less damage so you won't be one hitting blues with it past lvl 6 or 7. At that point, you'll be using mostly your AoE attacks to maximize endurance cost per damage.......regening endurance with a toggle or two up is like watching paint dry.

I didn't get to play either. Had to resolve some issues on my brother's PC (wireless would keep connecting, disconnecting, re-connecting endlessly in his profile), and just do some maintenance on it.

And then I watched 24. So.. yeah.. no CoH for me tonight.

2.5 bubbles from 14 with my Rad/Dark Def....Toxic Goth....just finding a half hour here or there to play. Can't wait to hit 16. I took Hover at 12. It's pretty cool to be able to fly now and I may respec out my snipe attack to take flight. Seems most people take super jump now-a-days.

14, 18, 20 will be swift, hurdle, and stamina. From what I hear, stamina is incredibly effective.

I really like Hasten for battles where my teammates need to get healed quick, but dang does that end go fast! Tar comes in pretty handy as well.

I don't like hasten, but I don't play a support role. For me, hasten just drains my end even quicker.

And I'll be taking Super Jump. I've used Super Speed and been granted Super Jump.. and SJ is just so much more fun. Plus, you have the vertical movement, which you don't get with SS.

I'll be taking swift, health and stamina at... 12, 18, 20, I believe. (might be 12, 16, 20)
