21 miles today on the new wheelset that I build up. The Conti GP4000s's finally came in yesterday. The wheels didn't explode and stayed true when I checked after the ride.

My back is rebounding faster than usual from the tweak it got on Monday, so I got another 25 miles today at a pace more like the usual (19.2mph on the way home).

It was after 8PM by the time I got done at work, but I made myself take the longer route home because I need the miles for that Strava challenge. I'm only up to 21%, with 30% of the days gone, so I better get my act together.

42 miles today (rural commute both ways). On the way to work, I put a special effort into grabbing a KOM on the last climb heading into town, which was successful: http://app.strava.com/activities/48445825#849153970 Considering that's on a ~34lb mountain bike with a trunk bag, it'll have to do for now :biggrin: but I'll try to raise the bar sometime with one of my fast bikes.

The ride home was great fun... compared to being dropped into a vat of eels. Escalating rain, plus a pannier loaded with my work laundry. Oh well, at least there's leftover pizza in the fridge

finally some decent weather.

A 2:30 hours long ride, over about 40 miles, with my usual 1500 feet "practice hill" at the first third. Made surprisingly good pace off the back of that, passing plenty of riders.

Of course, this is coming off of a rest week, so sadly performance will not be exactly representative for the average outing. Still a good base for the season-proper.
