I bought that from the egg a year or so ago it is crap.... fm transmit does not work at all and the fm radio doesnt work very well either but other then that its pretty good deal

Interesting. Almost all the ratings and reviews I have found show it to be a great mp3 player. You got a bad one dude... guess what.. it happens.

its a great mp3 player. i didnt even know it has fm transmit. the thing is small and you cant expect great radio on it, especially inside buildings, but thats what you get with very small devices like this.

calling it "crap" because you have unrealistic expectations of it doesnt help anyone

No No its crap .... fm radio doesnt workgood outside. You didnt even know it had a fm transmit, then what do you know?

I know this, you can get a creative 512 slightly more then this with prefect!!! fm that is just as small..... and believe it or not fm works in a building (it must be some sort of engineering miracle)

so before you open your uneducated mouth think about what you are saying

but LIKE I SAID BEFORE if these features are not required by you and you want a CHEAP MP3 player this is a pretty good deal

I really liked mine... but then it stopped working. It's currently in RMA and should be back soon. I'd wouldn't hesitate to buy another, assuming they all don't die like my first one did.

I live in Anchorage, and the FM radio worked fine for me. Didn't know it has a FM transmit function either.... what is that exactly?


EDIT: And before you call someone uneducated, you might want to grammar check your post... otherwise you just look..... uneducated!

uhh, you're talking about a Muro product, whoever the heck they are. This is made by Creative, it's name is the MuVo. Two completely different things.

What's the RMA process like with Creative? Did you need to have your old receipt or anything?

It's free parts/labor for the first 90 days, and I did have to send a receipt along with the device for RMA. Was a bit of a pain to get an RMA number, but overall not bad. After the 90 day period you have to pay $40 for labor.... so basically they have a 90 day warranty. If I could have bought one in town for that price, I would have done so and gotten a warranty.

I have the 1 gig model and I love it, although the radio reception is pretty weak. The only real downside of this product is that it doesn't do playlists.
