Oh I agree, I was just trying to give clarity, due to some people not understanding nothing happens if you don't have a majority. There is no Dem majority in the HOR.

This is what I don't get - why aren't they having hearings on this every week? Why not ask Alito's neighbors to come testify as to what happened, maybe even Alito's wife? (although calling Alito's wife could be a bad look)

The story from the neighbors just came out. Dems can have hearings but you would have to convince the neighbors to show up knowing they would be subject to attack from MAGAts.

They need to subpoena Alito’s wife. She can’t ignore it and would have to show.

Hearings in the Senate need to start tomorrow.
