If you want to flash it with the LiteOn firmware go Here and read how to do it, and if you decide to do it get the file from Here but you have to extract the file using Winrar 3 if you use any other it will not open.

If you follow the instructions there wont be any problems, I have already done a Verbatin drive and a TDK that I knew it was a LiteOn rebadge!

Lite On Drives have unique model numbers. They all start with "LTx-xxxxxx" typically. For example, my DVD "LTD-163" = Lite On DVD - 16X.

Some one had a question as to which page you send in with your rebate the pink one or teh yellow (this only if you ordered online). In the past i have sent in teh pink one and got my rebate but this time i sent the yellow one. I seriously doubt that it matters which one you send it.
