Welcome to the AT Secret Santa 2k4 event. Amdskip and I decided to run this again since we loved doing it last year. This year we are only going to have one group, the gifts under 20 dollars. If you want, you can give gifts over 20 dollars, but it is deemed optional.
Like I said before, this is the only group:

This year, we have something different. Instead of e-mailing us with your information, Jeff (Amdskip) has coded a form so we can gather information and it will automatically send us the information.
This is what we are asking for on the form:
1)AT Name
2)Name
3)Address (Address you want your gift will be sent to in mid-December!!)
4)E-mail address
5)Age
6)Heatware
7)Ebay
8)Likes
9)Dislikes
We also have a box for additional information. You can add whatever you please here.
To make this as smooth going as possible, we prefer heatware or Ebay as one of the references to sign up for this. If you don't have any heatware, don't fret; we will deal with you on a person to person basis.
The cut off for signing up for this is Sunday, November 28th at midnight (11/28/04). I'm guessing we are going to have a bigger group than last year which is excellent.
Now here are the rules, please read them before signing up:
1) Please only sign up if you are serious. I don't want to deal with people who didn't feel like sending out gifts, that is not the Christmas spirit. I have a list of people who didn't send out gifts last year...so I know who you are.
2) We are having three sections of this event: US, Canada, and Europe. US participants will only get US participants and so forth. This will save the trouble of customs between countries and the possible lost of packages.
3) Please mail your gift with enough time to be there before Christmas. There were several incidents were the Secret Santa's did not send it on time and it did not make it there by Christmas.
4) For the US, we recommend USPS Priority Mail with Delivery Confirmation. I would say this is the cheapest and fastest way for smaller boxes or packages. It usually takes 3 to 4 business days on average, sometimes shorter, to reach its destination. When you ship out your package to your person, you will be asked to send in the tracking number to the package. I asked this last year so we can keep track of who sent out packages and when they were recieved. We will have another form up here so you can submit that information.
5) For the Canadian and European people, please use a trusted shipping method that is trackable. I just want something we can use to see if the package gets there or not.
6) A list of Secret Santas will be posted after Christmas. No, I won't tell you who your Secret Santa is early.
7) I will be sending out e-mails probably a couple days after the cut off date. We should be done by the 30th, I'm hoping.
8) If I can think of anything else, I will post it here.
Oh and I forgot....

Edit 11/25/04: The official cut off is this Sunday, the 28th. If I do not see anymore applicants on Saturday, I will be bringing the cutoff date back one more day. Just a couple more days people.....patience!
Edit 11/29/04: Done! 99 members which means 33 groups. Jeff and I will be working on the groups and you should see e-mails in the next couple days.
