Out of curiousity, what is an appropriate gift? I have vast amounts of stuff that is, although nifty, somewhat useless. (for example, SIMM's for your printer, some old Mac software, remote control blimp accessories, etc.)
Then again, I might just go with my old standard-several pounds of imported japanese candy, with some dried and salted squid. You can't eat pocky without squid, you know.

Try to send something useful. Many people send items that are made locally in their area and are unique. Some people go the easy way and send a $20 gift card to a store. It's up to you but don't dump your old useless stuff
