From his posts I'm guessing he's a college kid. Probably at home for the holidays currently. I'm willing to give the benefit of the doubt.

EDIT...Ok, whats the plan if we still havent received anything? I propose that those who participated only to GET a gift be banned from further participation in this or any like event. I also would like to see a thread started showing the members who failed to comply.

I will talk to Amdskip about this and see what he says. I want to give the rest of the week for late packages to see who got what.

Yea, it's a great idea but we had a poor participation rate this year. There are a lot more people who didn't fullfill their end compared to last year. I'm not sure what we can do about these certain people, and what the mods would approve. I'm just a little upset that I couldn't control you guys not getting presents. It just sucks, cause I feel guilty.

great idea, sorry I didn't participate i didnt feel i'd have the time to shop and ship this year so I didn't participate. Next year though....

Out of curiosity, did you check people's heat feedback before allowing them to participate? I saw you had a field in the signup page - but were their ratings actually looked at? I know that can be a time consuming process especially when you have 100+ ratings to look at. for next year I would be willing to help you go through and look at each members heat if that would help.

I know it kindof sucks for those who don't have much heatware, but perhaps for those who have been honest SS's in the past this could be waived. Just seems like more could be done to prevent the lack of gifts being sent by all parties involved. And i'm not pointing fingers, you did more then enough work on your own!! I realize i've got a low post count...and not the highest heat in the world but Like i said I would be willing to help out next year if you need it!!

The problem with that is that there are some very respected members who signed up with little or no heat. We attempt to do our best accepting people with little feedback.

Give this until the end of the week and then we can start sorting out the non senders. People are huge procrastinators which does not help at all. We set deadlines and they get ignored.

yeah definetly, of course there are always exceptions to the rule, so this could be one of them.
