My first try at HDR. I like how it turned out, but I'd like input from others, so please tell me what you think.

Trees and bushes are really hard to HDR. It's much easier on a camera such as the 7D. On my 5DII it's a struggle. Next time I would try to bump up the shutter speed to try to get less blur. Over all still a good picture!
this HDR did not work. You did not retain good exposures on the shadow areas, but good exposure in the highlights. How many shots did you do? it just seems like this HDR was done from a single image, which is pushing the limits of what the camera can do for you anyways... this might have worked better without the HDR, and just put the trees as a silhouette.
we need HDR because our eyes perceive in HDR. cameras (according to DXO labs) has a maximum of 14-15 stops (digital) of dynamic range. Our eyes has about 25.
