Atlantic City Airshow in 2009. F/A-18E/F Super Hornet.

High speed pass + high humidity = awesome vapor cone. This appeared for only an instant as it went by, got lucky with timing!

(Btw, If you see the latest trailer for 'Man of Steel' (Superman), you see this effect right at the end. )

I think 2 is better, I like seeing more detail in the sand - but the blue of the sky provides great contrast in the first shot.
