Here's after a quick pass with the spot remover, just cuz...
looks like that's a hover/flower fly. The antennae are straight, and the eyes are large and round. The stopping and hovering is pretty characteristic of them also, hence the name .Just for fun, bee in flight, playing with the CV 35/1.2, this was at 1.4. These guys are pretty slow moving, so reasonable keeper rate. Didn't have any other lenses on me.
Where on I-5, looks like way up north?So some jackass Saturday morning hit a power pole on a side street just off of I-5, bringing down a bundle of power lines that stretched across the freeway from edge to edge. This closed all traffic in both directions for about 3 hours. I was headed north and wound up about 10 cars back from where the lines were down. Here's some pics I took:
