I'm curious, did the stock pipes get super hot under your butt? I know a guy who has one, he brought it by after he bought it and he was complaining about how hot the exhaust made the seat while riding. He was going to put the same exhaust on that you have.

What did that set you back for the exhaust? Couple grand I'm guessing? A friend of mine has a GT1000 Classic Sport and he paid $1200 for his Termignoni pipes. It is deafening with the baffles out but sounds like stock with them in.

1991 Toyota Supra Turbo
200,350 miles. 16/21/18 EPA, ~20 combined since I've owned it (9 yrs)

Super White w/ white package, matched trim and 5-spoke white alloy rims
Dark Blue leather
Power Moonroof
Digital Climate Control
TEMS Electronically Adjustable Suspension
Clarion DRX6475 Head Unit (1998 model), CD-Tech 6.5" 2-way speakers in doors, US Acoustics USX-4085 Amp
3" Downpipe to the Cat, 2.75" back
Ducted Cold Air Intake
Goodridge SS braided brake lines
New Head Gasket Mod
And of course, R12 refrigerant in the A/C. Doesn't get colder than that.

Previously existing, but since removed, mods:
H&R Lowering Springs, ~2" drop, way too low
3" Turbo-back exhaust, way too loud

I'll find a pic with and without the lowering springs, gotta go through and scan them, because the last pics I took of the car were pre-digital camera age.

-black anodized grill guard

If anything the heat went away when I put carbon pipes on the bike.

You can put your hand on the pipes when the bike is running and it will not burn you.

I never could feel the heat from under the seat before or after carbon

What did that set you back for the exhaust? Couple grand I'm guessing?

Slip ons cost $1500
Full pipes cost about $2500
Mine are slip ons
