Most accessories are default on the 3.5SL, so that was pretty much the only extra thing added. Nice tech-wise, handles fairly well, has power when you need it... my only complaint is the stupid intelli-key and how I've accidentally set off the panic alarm about 50 times so far. It has a very poor design so where if you put it on a key ring, a key can push up against the button and set the alarm off. I've also opened my trunk before by merely sitting down and having my pocket constrict a little. Quite annoying and the Nissan dealer said they can't do anything about it .

Which turbo are you going for?

I think the GT30R will be the best street turbo balance I can get. A guy with a Solstice has a kit for just under $3k with everything you need. It should feasibly be good for 500 from the crank, but this car is too small to run around with that much power unless I put some BIG meats on the rear and a coilover on.

Well there's that and I don't think your internals or drivetrain can handle anywhere near that much power.

I also think that GT30 is going to be borderline unstreetable with a 2.0L Ecotec. Lag city. But I don't know a lot about your car in particular so I guess I should just shut up.

Anyways, good luck with all that.

Have you ever read up on the LNF? It has a forged crank, rods, and pistons. It's a DI so it can give you all the fuel you need (stock it's running sub 20% IDC). Using HPTuners and playing with the cam phasing you can spool up a big turbo VERY quickly and many guys are running around at 7500rpm on stock internals.

The guy with the GT30R is cutting a 1.6 60' running comfortably in the 11's.

The drive train is a different issue that none of us are too sure about, a new clutch is in order and we'll see how the rest holds up.

My remote requires a side button be pushed prior to any of the face buttons working (this can be turned off)...works great for me.

Be sure to pick up a clutch that is reasonably easy to modulate, not just with sufficient power handling. A lightswitch clutch is definitely not the way to go with a big turbo.

Will a Spec Stage 2 with flywheel work well you think? I'll be honest I haven't seen much in terms of drive train because no one has gone very far except for BTF yet.[/quote]

I don't think I have such an option. It wouldn't even be an issue if the buttons were recessed like all other remote entry devices I've had .

Well I just trying to apply what works and doesn't work on Subaru's to your car.

I was reading this however Text and this guy seems to prefer a 16G for DD purposes. There's about a 1000rpms difference in peak torque. Couldn't find any dyno numbers for comparison though I didn't look very hard.

I just know I wouldn't be happy DD'ing my car if my snail wasn't spooling until 4500+rpm.

One of the "perks" of having a remote not reach all that far. I think I have to be within 50ft (can't judge distance that well) and have the proverbial line of sight. I can't unlock it from inside a restaurant - that's for sure. Hell I can't unlock it from inside my house unless I'm riight at the front door.

In contrast, we were in Manhattan's Battery Park theatre WAAAY up there in the building and we could see my friend's Maxima down on the street through one of the windows... his remote actually worked as the lights blinked when he tried it. While it's great it's got such range, I don't see a lot of benefit for that.

I have really good range on mine on the Xterra.

The advantage is that it's two-way - so the keyfob alerts you when the alarm goes off or the sensor is triggered, etc. So you can check out who's screwing with your car!

Tuned to 19 deg WOT @ 11.7 AFR on 91 octane.

Falken 275/40/17 FK452 tires on stock machine finish 17x9" wheels (highly recommended street tire, rear end is completely stock and all wheel spin and hop completely eliminated just with these tires and can still lift the front end on a cold wet road).

Have 18" FR500 "hypercoated" wheels waiting to go on with some Nitto 335/30/18 tires, but one of the wheels was damaged in shipping so that will have to wait. The 452s are actually so good I'm in no hurry to get Nittos back on right away and they are only $150 a tire and last a lot longer.

Est. 450-475 RWHP about as good as it gets with an untouched stock blower. Undecided as far as going with another twin screw or turbo at this point.

45k miles and it's a great car if you want to save gas. I get no less than 35mpg. Cheap to maintain too and that's all I got to say. Other than that, the car rattles like a pos, really harse and noisy ride.
