So I took all your advice and got a 2010 Kawasaki Ninja 250R in Red. $3000 list price, which is incredible considering these are selling for $3500 used in the Bay Area.

And I got my first fall out of the way. Was sitting on a green 250R on the showroom floor and the salesperson said "hey, let's go find your bike" and I said "let's go!" and promptly fell over with the bike on me - I had forgotten the kickstand was out. Luckily the bike was ok

Bikes are heavy to pick up.

And I know what my next bike is going to be - Suzuki GSXR600K9 in black - fits me like a glove! And I love the aggressive forward riding hugging the bike position. And it's the only other sport bike where I can touch the ground on. But it's $9000. Ouch. That's 3 Ninja 250Rs....

EDIT: Damnit. Didn't even read the entire post before I cursed god. First pacepalm is for the bold, second is the underline. I'm gonna get this out of the way now...can I have your stuff when you die?

Dude...don't get ahead of yourself. Have you taken the MSF course yet? Have you actually ridden a motorcycle at all??? Ever???

Two things:

1. If you don't have a will, get one drawn up. It'll be easier for your parents to inherit all of your toys.

2. You still are not going to get any women.

Please take my advice and that of others.

Take a motorcycle safety course BEFORE you even think about riding in a public area much less in traffic. It is well worth the money and you will not regret it. May even help to unlearn some bad habits.

Live to snorgle another day. Ride smart and safely.

Nonsense. Trial by fire. The best riders are self-taught. Give them a bike, the more CC the better. Most people have a natural feel for motorbikes and schools tend to train this out of them.
and yet he still managed to dump a bike in the showroom? That sounds suspect and like nube move. I cant imagine someone passing a class and making such a mistake.
Jokes aside, this is a huge freaking red flag to all of us, no kidding. There are lots of sh*ty drivers in cars, people who've had a bunch of accidents and just have no idea what's going on. I bet you there are very damn few sh*ty motorcycle riders because they already wrapped themselves around a stop sign or somebody's bumper.

Ya, honestly. Why was the kickstand up to begin with in the showroom? Vroom vroom vroom.

When I took the course, the first thing they did was remind us to take the kickstand up or put it down.

Oh, and um... I thought the OP took the course, but if that's the first time he noticed how heavy bikes are, I'm not quite so sure anymore.
