At what age did you stop wearing sneakers with jeans?

I work with dozens of professional people who still wear sneakers with their jeans. I thin it is a matter of getting the color combinations right and making sure you stick to the cleanliness factor. So long as you wear clean sneakers and not the ridiculous hot-pink ones that are recently becoming all the fad, wear it and be proud.

I stopped wearing tennis shoes/athletic shoes unless I am running.
I have a decent pair of Saucony's for that.
I wear loafers and vintage style sneakers.

Well, if you can call those dr scholl's gellin' sneaker things sneakers. Mine are black with velcro, with arthritis it's easier to get them on.

Somewhere around 30, when I discovered loafers didn't wear out as fast as sneakers.

I wear Rockport ProWalkers with jeans -- leather "sneakers" I guess, but they can masquerade as dress shoes in a pinch.

Why would there be an age to stop? Sneakers and jeans are pretty much standard every day thing especially if you are lucky like me where you don't need to dress fancy for work. Heck we can even wear shorts here in summer. FTW!

Never stopped, never plan to. Dress/casual dress shoes kill my feet, and I have to wear them four days a week. Not going to do it when I don't have to.

Hell, I'm pushing 60 and still wear tennis shoes with jeans. (OK, actually New Balance walking shoes, but they're WHITE like tennis shoes!)
I like being back in the PNW where they don't look at you funny for wearing sandals with white socks...it's normal here.

Depends on where I'm going. Home, working outside when it's chilly, sneakers. Work, shopping, etc. - loafers. (And, of course, if it's cold, it's boots; hot, it's shorts, not jeans.)
