The vibe you're noticing is derision, dude. Nobody likes a mostly bald guy with a wispy man bun, OR droopy pants revealing Frozen themed boxers . . . especially when those pants are khaki Dockers! But I do tend to buy what I like and as odd as it might be, I think my tastes have gradually acquired something of a subculture vibe. I don't know if that's coincidence or if I just pay more attention now.
At what age (if ever) did you stop caring about being cool?
Looking and being respectable are two different things. Glad to see you are going for a "look".Stopped caring about being cool when I was about 17.
I have never stopped caring about dressing well and looking respectable.
Ha. I don't really mind derision but that's not the impression I get. Cargo pants, t-shirt, ratty sneakers and black pig skin welding jacket. That's for winter.
I cut my hair just over a year ago. Very short. I was tired of dealing with a 1 foot pony tail that I had to keep in a bun just so it wouldn't get caught between my back and chair. Long hair is a pain in the a**. But now I miss it so I'm trying to grow it back in. It's almost scrunchy time. Another month or so I think.
Where did I say I didn't actually respectfully?Looking and being respectable are two different things. Glad to see you are going for a "look".
