Well since my post was last on the other thread and people can't see it. I'll put it here.

I'm leveling up from ground zero since I don't have my old account. I'm dual-boxing with the second acount as RAF so I get 3x xp. That only lasts until 60.

Trying to get to 80 before cata but I'm not sure it'll happen. How many hours aprox would you say it takes to get from 70-80? Same or alot more than it takes to get from 60-70? I quit right before WOTLK so I haven't experienced it.

Also not sure I'll be able to dual-box in outlands or WOTLK since I'm running both accounts on my laptop and it is chugging in vanilla wow.

I think 70-80 is more efficient than 60-70. As much as TBC improved on level grinding/quests, WOTLK improved it even moreso.

There are plenty of quest hubs and just the layout of quests is so much more intuitive than the previous areas.

Hmm speaking of Death Knights, I'm thinking about making mine from Blood DPS / Blood Tank to ... Unholy DPS / Frost DPS. I'd kind of like the ability to provide different buffs rather than both specs only providing +10% AP, but there's also Hysteria, which makes Fury Warriors very happy .

I would imagine that when the 4.0 patch goes live everything on that table will be exchanged for the new honor points and no longer show in your currency tab. I think ill probably hurry and cash out for gems and then auction them. The first round of honor gear is always pretty abyssmal.

That is how it should work. I haven't been able to check on the PTR since I have to download the thing again (silly Blizzard), and before, Blizzard only changed over the PVE currencies. However, all PVE currencies were switched to the new Justice Points except for the Argent Tournament stuff (of course).

That sounds like Alleria. The top guilds literally raid (or raided.. not sure which) five days a week and only got 11/12 HM. While that's still no paltry task, to raid five days as the supposed cream of the crop and still not finish? That combined with the fact that content was never beaten by said guilds until it was surpassed... TOGC25... beaten in ICC25 gear... Yogg25+0... beaten in ICC25 (+HM) gear.

But doing Ulduar weeklies easily makes me notice something. Almost the easiest way to test a player is simply have them do Flame Leviathan. The fight is easy as hell, but instead of a player having to know their class, this fight simply tests them on properly executing fight mechanics. Sure, you have to use a vehicle, but looking for and picking up pyrite (or shooting some down that's flying overhead) isn't much different conceptually than doing something in a boss fight. I mean, "if pyrite < 30, pick up another barrel."

If you can't tell, I had the Ignis weekly this past week .

That is encouraging. Thanks for the reply. I can only play a couple of hours a day so it'll be a long grind regardless. Not sure I'll make it before cata if it is released in Nov.

I don't recall the exact level I'd hit finishing up all the outland zones, but I'd then do the first two NR zones and ding 80 within a dozen or so quest into the third zone.

the speed at which you level now is really dependent on how many random 5 mans you do, it can go really fast if all you do is farm 5 mans for exp, straight questing takes longer

Couple problems with the d/l; first it would probably be related to blizz time vice your area time. Second, the d/l speed is probably demand dependent and not sure I'd want to rely on the blizz downloader to not be chugging like a loaded school bus on release morning.

I wouldn't be surprised to see them do something similar to how SCII worked, where the game files were up for download a week or so prior to launch.

Without knowing the costs of the items I can't decide if I should dump badges/honor or not... Anyone have simple spend them or keep them advice? If we keep them, will the points carry over into cata?

I guess it depends on what you want. Prices will be higher post-conversion because they converted EoT and EoF, so if you want to buy Primordial Saronites to make money, I'd do it now (especially since the prices will tank).

If I remember correctly, Justice Points will not buy initial epics at 85.

Except starcraft was a separate self contained game while this will be a patch to an existing game. If you already have an account though, you should be good to go as the patch data and such will be put out prior to the launch date. All you would need in that case would be to enter the keycode to allow your account to access the in game barriers they put up, assuming you get that key right away.

For someone playing for the first time, they could probably pre-start by installing the trial and that new download thing would let you access parts of the game while waiting for the rest to come down the pipes.

I had heard some rumors that the Alchemy mount was going to be a druid instant cast Dragon so I was really excited!

Now it's an alchemy mount and I'm very sad, even though I'm an alchemist.

He was Apocolyte with us IDK if his name changed when he xfered, i thought he went to BL he definitly does not suck so maybe not
