My 84 Rogue is rapefacing just fine. I'm holding back on leveling to 85 cause taking him into BG's is so fun. Improved Recuperate is awesome even after they nerfed it.

sad day, my guild has decided that we're only going to be focusing on 10-mans in Cat.

I guess it doesn't really matter to me because I wasn't planning on going back to hardcore raiding again, but I still think it's pretty sad considering that the guild was formed in the first place 5 years ago as a merger between smaller guilds who wanted to get into 40-man raiding.

Maybe we need to resurrect the old Knights of Nef.

trampoline achievement post zone completion still borked and it seems the defending the rift quest is also borked after the first time it's done after a realm restart. Funny thing about the rift quest, is a main line quest that was immediately behind another that just got fixed and without both working you can't complete the zone or it's achievements...so how did that make it threw beta?

I went to Hyjal first... did ALL the quests there (up to and including the fight against Ragnaros)... and was over 3/4 to 82.

Then i moved to Vashj'ir ... and i'm probably halfway thru the zone.. i just finished the series where you have to save the big turtle thing in the Shimmering Expanse.. Nespirah .. and i'm less than a bubble from 83.

That's interesting, because even though you're solo, you were around the same point as me after Mount Hyjal (which is odd), but you're further ahead than me in Vashj'ir. I'm around 82.80 right now and I just got to the third sub-zone after the Naga Ruins area (which is the stuff you do after the giant shell... thing).

I just digned 83 about an hour ago... did the "First Vision" quest thingie.. and am 1 bubble into 83.

If you're trying to level asap, as soon as the upper zones open for you, you should go to them instead of going to the other lower zones. Deepholm gives about 50k per quest compared to 36k in lower zones.

did hyjal, albeit with the daily quest head start, and made it to 82 before leaving. did vash about 12 to the quest completion before the bugs stop you and made it about 1/4 into 83. 80% or so done with the deeps and about 10% into 84.

levels really odd this xpac; 81, 82, and 83 came at a decent pace. By the time you hit 84 it feels like you've been waiting awhile for the level, and then you get smacked in the face going for 85 and figure even though bliz didn't give you 10 levels, they made it feel like your leveling through 10.

really, though, I'll probably stay in my guild unless it completely explodes, if for no other reason than guild leveling.

but my sister and brother-in-law are returning to the game to play horde, though, so I might faction change one of my 80's and go play with them.

I'm assuming that orcs are still the best horde race for warlocks?

I leveled Sub with Imp Recuperate. Ambush > 5 pt Evis gets most things below 50% then Hemo spam until dead and use the pts on SnD or recuperate for the next mob. It seems a little faster than my Combat spec plus you can PVP with it.

So, I watched that Athene video (only about a minute of it being anything pertinent), and he mentioned that BoAs supposedly work from 80-81. Is that true? Did anyone here use it?

there was alot of stuff not working right launch night. i wasn't even getting XP for the first 1/2 hour... and if you were flagged... the npc's would attack you when you landed (lol) ..

wouldn't surprise me that stuff was messed up the first night.

They have an awesome mount. Almost the only reason why I changed my BE to Tauren.

If you don't plan on going Holy, as Arcane Torrent restores mana, then the 5% HP could be quite beneficial. A geared tank should see over 200,000 HP if I remember correctly, so you'd gain 10,000 HP, which is not too shabby.

I am at 62% through 84 to 85. I leveled from 80 to that in a little over a day. It is extremely easy to level. I got Hyjal and Uldum achievements and walked out of Vashj'Ir due to it sucking to me. The instances aren't bad so far and the justice points stuff doesn't look so bad for 85.

I have enchanting and I don't see leveling that any time soon as the mats are ridiculously overpriced.

Like others I have stopped the high end raiding, way too much time involved. Random 10 mans but mainly heroics. I also plan on leveling my Warrior which is 49 and has been a blast to play.

For my 84 (should hit 85 on Tuesday) Warlock, I plan on running heroics and chilling doing Loremaster . As I am doing that I plan on leveling my Warrior and mY eventually race change my Gnome Rogue to a Worgen.

Dinged 85 this morning. Working 70 hours a week really makes leveling hard once you get pass level 82!

On my next char i will completely skip vash, that place is really slow.

i don't know if i'd call it slow, but it does take doing over 30% more quest to complete the zone which may make it appear slower. oddest thing for me about the zone is that you are in a more 3d environment while doing so on a 2d plane, and the lack of true depth perception that comes from this is sometimes screwy.

so I was cursing through STV and thought I remembered it as being one of my arch dig sites when I first trained up, checked and it still was so I went to the area to see what the skill was like. Must have gotten lucky cause after clearign my first site, the next three all respawned in STV also so didn't have to go far to go from 0 skill into mid teens. It says I collected items, but guess they don't really matter as it does not appear anythign gets stored in the bags, but i did get about 29k experience for each one i dug up.

ah, I see if you open the arch skill window once you get enough of a same kind of artifact you put them together or something.

seems that even though not reported as such in chat window, these digs were using rested XP. noticed my bar went from blue to purp and my digs only then giving me 14.5k.


and now for something retarded, you can still only go into BE territory through the damn portals. yes, you can indeed fly all over the world...until you hit BE land and them hit an invisible wall. definition of retarded.
