Bunch of my guildies hit 85\84 last night. They seem to not be trading out their tier bonuses just off pieces and weapons. Anyone else having this experience or are they doing it wrong?

i leveled my priest from 70 to 80 in all 70 PVP gear. just quest no instances.

people thought iwas nuts running around as a 80 with the 70 priest shoulders, the ones with the wings.

there are many more quests there then that needed for zone achievement

after you do the stuff that involved nemesis and all that there is nearly an equally as long part doing twilight cultists stuff in the other half of the zone, the part that used to be winterspring

i checked to see number of 85s on line last night before going to bed, of the almost 2 dozen currently logged in on my faction seemed at least one group already doing heroics.

They are wrong you need IIRC an average ilevel of 326 to get into Heroics

if its not 326 its right around the 320 area

Maybe I'm wrong, but I believe that restriction is only for the queue, so that you don't get a group with someone who is undergeared. I don't see why you can't just make a group of guildies and go into the heroics manually.

Vivi, might be a gear thing but the mages in my guild leveled as arcane and never died, 2 of them hit 85 last night

Having an incredibly easy time leveling as frost. Everything dies to 1 deep freeze. I was swarmed most times because of the respawn rates and lack of other players (low pop server even at primetime). But this is speaking from a 82 PoV

That's the one part that sucks about a new expansion. If you do happen to somehow be fairly alone in the spot you're questing, mob respawns can be a real pain in the ass. Finish quest, attempt to mount, combat initiated with respawn. Kill it, attempt to mount, another mob. Repeat a few times.

I'm still considering how I want to level my warrior, who may be the 2nd or 3rd pair. I think I may do Paladin+Warlock, because they have all three gathering professions covered. It made me weep last night when I left all those skins behind . Warrior+Priest can only do mining.

My Warrior does have his very own pocket Priest, so healing is a non-issue. I did 70-80 as Arms because I love being able to charge in combat (you get put in combat often when leveling). Makes me also want to give my Enhancement Shaman the Lightning Shield glyph so I don't have to refresh it after every damn fight!

I don't have the luxury of dual-box leveling, but now that I have four 80s with no actual main character I am looking at it from their professions stand point and thinking of leveling the gatherers first, and then the crafters next.

yeah, I was concerned after hearing how tough the mobs in cata were supposed to be since I planned on leveling in PvP gear and with a PvP spec (sub rogue). So far it's been a breeze. I'm not to the point where I am hurting from a gear deficit yet (only lvl 82) but things die before they do much damage, and recup tops me off pretty quickly.

I was confused for awhile how I kept being behind everyone in levels after doing the first zone... but then I realized, "Duh... I'm grouped the entire time!" I only get half the EXP per mob kill! I forgot about that :\.

Oh well, off to Vash'jir! Let's hope the whole swimming thing doesn't end up too bad. I'm not a huge fan so far that I have to sit at the docks for 10 minutes to wait for this stupid boat.

Wow, I get some really variable performance in Vashj'ir... in looking off to the same area, I originally was dropping as low as 15 FPS... and I looked back that way again and it was at 70 FPS.

Loved the 9.1 million exp to hit 85 from 84. At least Twilight Highlands was a quick and amazing leveling zone.

I seem to be getting a decent amount of it, although I'm certainly not a tailor if that's what you're getting it for.

lucky. last two nights, prime time queue was 45-60 minutes - Kel'Thuzad

pretty sure all med-high pop servers will have a queue now, just like when wrath came out, give it 2-3 weeks and you will beback to not having one

several hotfixes pushed, this being the OMFG yes one I noticed

•Flame Ascendants needed for the quest "Might of the Firelord" now respawn more quickly.

i prob haven't gotten to that yet but the quests i did last night mobs were respawning silly fast. just stand in 1 place kill mob and BAM hes back. made it pretty to do the kill X number of them quests

getting 1 level a day seems to be working for me right now, should hit 85 this weekend. think i've logged a total of 4 hours so far

the 35 min wait for a random dungeon kinda sucked last night

agreed, I'm 3/4 into 82 right now with 10 quests left in vashir or whatever it's called. Haven't done any dungeons yet just following the quest lines taking my time.

Still haven't replaced any pieces of gear yet though.

I think I went to the wrong zone, Hyjal seems to be where all the good leather caster pieces are rewarded, I've got a full set of feral with no spec right now

The items Ive replaced (2) has come from instances. i suspect once i start in deepholm ill start replacing everything

I'm enjoying questing slowly, reading the lore, and checking out the new areas too. I went through Hyjal the first day, got 2 levels. Did a little over half Vash last night for 90% of the next level. I haven't done any instances yet, and haven't upgraded any gear yet either.

I heard a rumor that the guild exp/leveling cap increases with each level you gain. Does anyone know if this is true or not?
