Wow. When I did the "awards a significant amount of XP" missions I got like... one bar of XP. Tops. Half a level is like ten.

Managed to grab about 4 of them and hit the bonus on all but one. Not sure if rested bonus also kicked in or not.

I was that way on my mage alt. In the end it doesn't really matter. Still need to finish the story quest chain in each zone to progress. Still trying to finish Stormheim on the mage and just can't find the time. Spending an inordinate amount of time on my main warrior trying to get stuff done for raid, and screw nightfallen rep for Arcway and Court of Stars. Still 3k short of 8k/12k honored. At lvl 18 artifact and ilvl 841 though, suppose it's a start. SO MANY WORLD QUESTS. It's the complete opposite of WoD and it's nice, there's absolutely no reason to sit in your class hall.

Saw some talk about running into problems with order hall missions where if you quickly rank up one or two of you followers, you will start to only see higher level missions and you can run into a problem of them not getting lower ranked missions to get get for the rest causing problems with not being able to perform the missions being offered to you.

Odd, I have the exact opposite issue. All my followers are 110+ but all I keep getting are level 102-106 missions for gold.

Leveling my DH as my alt. Moving super fast with rested XP. Got to 104 in one day.

Question is, should I level as Havoc or Vengeance. Ven does pretty good DPS and never dies. Havoc does more but is hella squishy.

If you're having trouble with a rare fel rush to a regular mob nearby and kill it with incidental aoe to get a healing "orb"

Vengeance does more dps than Ret with boat loads more survival and mobility. Go with that.

I loved Val'Sharrah as a druid. Felt like "home". LoL.

For what it's worth, there's two different 'let you fall from a long distance for free' toys you can get in this expansion. One's a free kite from Highmountain, unfortunately nerfed but still useful (1 minute of glide every 15 minutes). Other's a weird click-to-fly thing that propels you forward a *very* long way, the two combined can let you pretty much launch from Dalaran and end up anywhere if you want, except to the very top of Highmountain. It'll get you there shloads faster than floating as a DH as well.

Also: This is the best expansion blizz has done since Wrath, by a long shot. The zone detail is off the charts, the level scaling and pacing are fantastic, and they've at least attempted to bring back a smidge of difficulty, even if it's still an order of magnitude easier than vanilla/BC. At least there's some elite NPCs in the world now, even if they still hit like girl scouts.

I went and leveled each character to the point where they can choose their first zone, which gave me an interesting look at what has changed for each of them.

• Enhancement Shaman: I don't think I really care for the changes here. At least from what I could tell, Shamans completely lose Windfury, which is just ludicrous. Now, before someone says something, yes, I know you get Windfury from your artifact (it's the passive bonus), but it's still stupid to remove it. They've also removed all shock spells, and changed the weapon enhancements (e.g. Flametongue Weapon) to take that role.
  
  Although, the biggest change is that Shamans have essentially become Warriors as they now have to generate their resource (Maelstrom) through attacks, and that's used to use abilities like Stormstrike and Lava Lash.
• Holy Priest: It's pretty rare for me to play my healers solo, but I pretty much had to while doing my class quests. So, it was a bit interesting to see that my Priest could deal decent damage.
• Unholy Death Knight: I went Unholy, because Icy Veins said that it has the best single target DPS, but ugh... I really don't care for the spec at all. I've always disliked 2H specs, because you swing so slowly, and it makes combat feel slower. I'm tempted to just go Frost anyway as I'd rather enjoy my time playing.

I guess I didn't have too much of an issue with other classes. I also played... Protection Warrior, Protection Paladin, Fire Mage (tried Arcane, hated it), Affliction Warlock, Windwalker Monk, and Restoration Druid.

Losing hammer of wrath sucked for my Pally as well. At least your enhancement shaman does more aoe just doing their single target rotation than my Ret does gimping her single target talents for aoe talents.

Shammies are cake with 4 button elemental spec.

My prot pally feels as invincible now as he did during wrath leveling, which was the last time i played my prot pally, I leveled with invasions so I started with 700+gear and nothing has seemed like a challenge in solo play. Scaling is something I would rather have avoided though. I think I will hit 110 in my second zone, Ive been playing with my crafting, doing all the quests I could find, and always have rest so I have always enjoyed seeing story while the combat goes by really quickly once you have leveled a bit past the area. On the plus side though I guess I will have lots of chances at purple gear from quests at 110.

Haven't gone over 100, but also didn't really enjoy unholy. Heard a lot of people go disc to level cause they didn't like shadow. People said elm wasn't great dps, but did enjoy the playstyle.

I'm maining Enhance Shammy this expansion and love it...gonna alt WW Monk. I love the flow of both of those classes. Mained Rogue last expansion but now it just doesn't really feel that good compared to how smooth the enhancement rotation is....I feel like I'm always waiting with the Rogue (Outlaw is all I've tried)...very clunky. WW Monk mastery is great too, I had a hard time deciding between Shammy and Monk but the Doomhammer was the deciding factor for my main.

Loving Legion so far...so much to do

Speaking of shaman, need to get the artifact weapon for mine the start doping draenor so I can open the garrison and get going with alchy work orders. Need to start transmuting to keep pumping out those bags.
