You know that part at the end of raid night when the final boss is dead and you’re done handing out loot and everyone kind of goes their separate ways? Yeah, this is one of those times.

We just came off of a great BlizzCon. We had so many different games to talk about, and we were thrilled at the reception of Warlords of Draenor. It was great to meet or reconnect with so many of you. I love BlizzCon dearly, which makes it so hard to tell you that this will be my last one, or at least my last one up on stage. An opportunity has come my way, and I have made the very tough decision to move on from Blizzard.

I wanted to thank all of you for being a part of this grand quest. I have said a hundred times that having passionate gamers, including the angry ones, is a far better place to be than having a community that doesn’t care. You all care. Like us, you want the game to be the best that it can be. So I ask you to keep on providing your feedback. I promise (and I rarely promise!) that the developers care very much about what you have to say.

I’ll be out there, and I can’t imagine it will be that hard to find me.

Mobs on Isle of Thunder give Black Prince rep? I really should look into that. I have the sigils on my paladin for the legendary quest, but I don't have the rep to get the next part for the sha-touched gem (still using the 483 mace on my healer). My rogue is the opposite -- have the rep, but not the sigils (using the 483 dagger still). Woe is me!

Not going to get much of a chance to play this weekend as my sister is visiting (which means a deep house clean tonight:\), and it would be rude to play when she's here....might get some time in early on Sat morning, but that's it.. Going to guess I probably won't hit the valor cap this week, which is a bummer because it's all upgrades for me.

Towards the center of the Isle there is an area where the giant stone statues constantly respawn. It's the best spot to farm BP rep.

General
Intervene no longer removes movement-impairing effects on use. The talent Safeguard will continue to remove movement-impairing effects.
Raids, Dungeons, and Scenarios

Cross-Realm raid browser now have categories for Mists of Pandaria World Bosses (Celestials and Ordos) and Flexible raid difficulty for Siege of Orgrimmar.
The cross-realm raid browser is accessed through the 'Social Pane' (bound to the O key by default) and look for the 'Raid' tab on the bottom right.
From there you can set the character as looking to join a raid or browse players that are forming up for a raid.

Players are now able to place raid markers in the world even while dead.
Items

Players are now able to mail account-bound items to other characters that reside on a different realm on the same account. To send cross-realm mail: enter the character's name, followed by a hyphen "-", followed by the realm name. Note that cross-realm mail can only send account-bound items, not other items or gold.

The Customer Support button has moved. Customer support can now be reached in-game by selecting Help option through the Game Menu (Game Menu is bound to the Escape key by default).

Blizz store now patched into the game. As part of the release blizz has a bunch of the pets/mounts @half off.

Seems blizz did a fubar. The changed the dampening ime to 5 minutes for the blizzcon arenas and then left the code in for the 5.4.2 version. Will be set back to 10 minutes after a server reset.

Also an unannounced change was that you can no longer dismiss hunter pets in arena.

Warlock = Zygmunt, but I'd make it a male
Paladin = Lukasz
Druid = Mikolaj

Late to the pet battle game but is there an addon that will tell you if the pet is common, uncommon, or rare before going into battle? I have one that tells me once in a battle.

Judging from recent relies about LFR, blizz is going full court on deemphasizing it. And since they also just promised hard dungeons like BC/cata, makes you wonder what they're thinking.

Raiding went vogue in Wrath when there were so many tiers (although not item level gear ones) that you could pug a good portion of it by end of the expansion. And who remembers BC or Cata heroics as being fun.

So population spikes to all time high during wrath, craters during Cata,and pateues with panda land...but let's revise things back to what most people label as the two worst expansions...could this be why GC left?

I'm assuming it doesn't exist and the server uses the same process for loot so doesn't determine what is there until a player interacts with it.

I like the harder heroic 5 man model, but there's no chance of that happening now with new raid model. Some of BC/Cata 5 man mechanics were overboard; multiple mobs with sweeping strike, 2+ 1-shot mechanics on an already stressful fight, low healer output, etc.

It's been known for a while that they're involved with the world-first progression community and work with top guilds and what not. I'm guessing it's a forum for that, and if it is, I don't understand why it's a big deal. Perhaps I'm missing something?

I think the balance they've struck is good. Flying mounts in new zones after your character reaches a milestone.

Eliminating flying mounts is good for people who long for the days of hours and hours of real time travel for every little thing, but they're a tiny minority of Luddites. Once you've seen the content once, why not be allowed to do it again at whatever pace you want?

I decided to level an alt this last week... levelling an elemental shaman... lemme tell ya, flying is a godsend! i couldn't wait to hit 60 to fly.. and being able to fly in outland and northrend from the start is a blessing!

on a different angle... levelling is a joke.

i went from 1 to 72 in 2 days using a full heirloom geared Shaman.
I was dinging 10 levels every hour or so...

i'm level 72 right now.. and i only did 1 zone in Outland... and so far nothing in Northrend outside of 2 or 3 quests.

the worst part about levelling now... is forget levelling skills at the same time.. you outlevel zones so fast, its not worth it to keep up skills.
