Not sure I'll do much LFR. Mythic dungeons? Sure. They are fast and I can control the group. Also, there's an actual chance at item upgrades.

It's 8K valor to upgrade everything you have equipped. I can get 2400 from just mythic dungeons, per week. Toss in the 500 from the weekend event and say 3 heroic dungeons and I'm up to 3200. Do LFR wings once and it puts me almost half way.

Repeat next week and everything I have equipped is upgraded. After that I only need a few mythic dungeons to upgrade new gear.

It will only heavily benefit LFR for a couple weeks, month tops. I'm just starting mythic raids due to the xrealm thing. Current mythic raiders will be completely done in 2 weeks.

Well I'm WoW token capped finally. Have a years worth of game time pooled. Thank god. Was buying 2-3 a month by operating the treasure hunter alt farm. Now I'll just get the one to keep it current until it's too expensive. (and put the rest towards the Rooster mount maybe) I want as many in stock as possible now because I'm betting Blizzard is gutting the garrison gravy train in Legion. They can't stand players getting benefit from old content that is still useful in new content.

You make it sound like it is a useless achievement, because you are so late. But you are still guild number 509 in the world to achieve this ! Pretty good, imho.

The guild I used to be in, when I played, had multiple raid-groups. Every expansion less and less groups. 2 25-mans groups plus a dozen 10-man groups in TBC. That guild had 3 groups left at the start of WoD. The hardcore group disbanded this summer. Some players (who had been in the guild for almost 10 years) moved server. The hardcore group had done 13/14 heroic SoO (before the WoD-nerf of course), so they weren't all bad. But they weren't able to kill normal Archimonde. A bit sad.

The Saturday-night alt group never got off the ground. The remaining players of the hardcore group merged with the casual group. So now the guild has only 1 raid-group left. And they are still not even able to kill more than 6/13H.

It's no surprise the casual-group didn't go far. They have some pretty bad players (including the MT). But I was surprised that the hardcore-group was not able to make any significant progress (in both HFC and the other 2 raids).

Anyway, in the light of the progress of my old guild, your Mannoroth kill is very impressive !

we should have had it a cpl weeks ago but had some roster issues and such and i wasn't trying to make it sound useless. we are all pretty happy considering we stated this expansion from nothing. While some of us have been playing together for forever there were only 8 of us when WoD came out, we didn't raid at all in MOP as a guild

I finally started raiding again (after a 6 month wife-induced hiatus), and my guild has most of H HFC down (which is making my ring upgrades come faster than I expected).

I went from 699 to 711 in two weeks, but RNG god has kept me at 1/4 for my set so my dps is lower than it should be

They want to start Mythic once we have Archi H down. I'm ok with that... they've had some roster fluctuations, geared folks dropping subs to wait for the next xpac, etc.

mythic assault and reaver were easier then H Archi but I think they have nerfed archi a cpl times now so that may not be the case

also with the upgrades we are once again back to the stupidity the was MOP end of expansion stat scaling

having 150% mastery with 30% haste as an aff lock is fing comical on single target

Yeah, I'm loving the valor upgrades, too. They're bumping me higher than I should be at this point.

The geared folks are pushing closer to Mythic ilevels which is also good. We have a new healer (cross-realm) who is in the 690s still which is also holding us back a tad.

It doesn't help that we can only pull together 10-12 people regularly due to burnout/etc. especially on fights where folks are marked and need to run away for some reason.
I get artillery back to back to back as a rogue on Reaver, for instance, which means that the healers are having to focus me.

Feint and cloak work on arty. Shouldn't require a single heal if he pops a health pot with feint.

After 3 hours of raiding a week for the last 8 weeks due to not enough people for a second night, we finally got mythic Gorefiend down tonight.

Heh, and 6 attempts on Socrethar, with like 3 people having seen the video on it, and he's down. That was a lot easier than Gorefiend.

Yeah, well, I got 4x artilleries twice now. When you run with 10 or 11 people, that's what happens.

Yeah, there's times where a small group is nice, and there's times that FUCK YOU BLIZZARD.

Word of advice, expand your group asap, or it's going to be a long wait for Legion because you'll be stuck at heroics.

My group is mythic ready but we're short a few people, 1 healer and maybe 3-4 dps. We sat in queue for 2.5 hours last night and got -1- person. Technically 3, but one couldn't read that we didn't need another healer, and the last tried to join way late and didn't speak English.

For whatever reason, the people who weren't in mythic groups do not want to join a new mythic progression group, although that's the only thing they are qualified for. Xrealm mythic hasn't helped unless you're grouping with friends.

Speaking of anyone want to join a new mythic group? Yes it means progression. Yes we'll wipe, but we'll also get shit done. Guild has been around since vanilla, many of us have played together for years.

Need a healer, just about any class will do, but we have a pal/priest/druid currently.

Need caster DPS like a mofo, we have no regular locks, a semi regular mage who's not performing very well, so we could use 1-2 of either of these classes. Have no need for warriors or hunters, but could use a rogue/DK/Monk for melee.

We raid Tu/Fri/Sun 7-10 CST.

For mythic you need ~50-60K DPS single target, typically that's 4pc+ring+one good trinket, about 710 ilvlish. Had to slap around some of our DPS last week, we didn't log for a while and some peeps were way low, fortunately they woke up this week.

Currently with x-realm you don't need to server transfer but if you're looking to do that you need to know this is a world pvp heavy server, but fairly A/H (56/44) balanced. Need a thick skin at times.

Tonight I went on an instance with my druid.

Druid is feral. For the heck of it I started throwing my spells out.

I was moonfire spamming targets like mad and the mana bar never went below 95%. This is a joke. I might seriously start looking at private servers.

I noticed that with healing in WoD. Couldn't heal through the stupid and the group damage like I could before, even spamming the bejesus out of my "High cost, fast cast speed" flash of light and AoE heals back to back to back. Mana barely budged though. I think I liked it more when my heals were powerful, but I had to watch my resource.
