I noticed that with healing in WoD. Couldn't heal through the stupid and the group damage like I could before, even spamming the bejesus out of my "High cost, fast cast speed" flash of light and AoE heals back to back to back. Mana barely budged though. I think I liked it more when my heals were powerful, but I had to watch my resource.

When did they change the regen rates? Like, there's no need for bandages anymore. No need for cooking. There used to be a need.

This is seriously dumbed down to the point it can hardly be called an RPG.

I was moonfire spamming targets like mad and the mana bar never went below 95%. This is a joke. I might seriously start looking at private servers.

Mana is for healers only, and it makes sense. DPS and tanks should not rely on mana, ever, that's why they have a secondary resources (rage/combo points/runes/whatever). Same with dps, there can't be a limit to how long you can dps, just how much. It's been like this for about 2 xpacs, at least.

warlocks are the only DPS caster who has to worry about manna, i can OOM myself in 45 seconds, lifetap is alive and real

Also arc mages, but the drain/regen aspect is part of the design, and you don't truly go dry as you can regen it. Point is you don't go dry to the point you can't cast ala BC casters.

Yeah, there's times where a small group is nice, and there's times that FUCK YOU BLIZZARD.

Word of advice, expand your group asap, or it's going to be a long wait for Legion because you'll be stuck at heroics.

My group is mythic ready but we're short a few people, 1 healer and maybe 3-4 dps. We sat in queue for 2.5 hours last night and got -1- person. Technically 3, but one couldn't read that we didn't need another healer, and the last tried to join way late and didn't speak English.

For whatever reason, the people who weren't in mythic groups do not want to join a new mythic progression group, although that's the only thing they are qualified for. Xrealm mythic hasn't helped unless you're grouping with friends.

Speaking of anyone want to join a new mythic group? Yes it means progression. Yes we'll wipe, but we'll also get shit done. Guild has been around since vanilla, many of us have played together for years.

Need a healer, just about any class will do, but we have a pal/priest/druid currently.

Need caster DPS like a mofo, we have no regular locks, a semi regular mage who's not performing very well, so we could use 1-2 of either of these classes. Have no need for warriors or hunters.

For mythic you need ~50-60K DPS single target, typically that's 4pc+ring+one good trinket, about 710 ilvlish. Had to slap around some of our DPS last week, we didn't log for a while and some peeps were way low, fortunately they woke up this week.

Currently with x-realm you don't need to server transfer but if you're looking to do that you need to know this is a world pvp heavy server, but fairly A/H (56/44) balanced. Need a thick skin at times.

We're a big enough guild to run a 25, but a bunch of our regular good raiders have 'flipped the switch' till the next xpac so we're running lean.

We've got some regular friends of friends from other servers who run with us.
We have two solid regular tanks (one of whom has tanked and only tanked since vanilla, he was one of my tanks in OG Naxx) and 4 solid "come every time" healers, two of which I have raided with since vanilla.
The dps are all good solid folks, but we just can't seem to expand.

We've tried out a couple of folks (since we are good on heals/tanks) but 25k in 695 Tanaan gear isn't cutting it on heroic.

I'd love to run some progression Mythic, I'm 715 now on my rogue, been raiding since vanilla, I just need another piece of Tier for max dps. Check: dheriana - silver hand

At least your trinket is useful. The DK class trinket isn't used at all by blood or frost and primarily on one fight (M Gorefiend for souls) where it's not useless cheesing for unholy.

Part of what you describe is why we're having issues. We can find other groups but we have 2 regular tanks and 3 healers. Same as any other functional group, which makes it nearly impossible to merge.

We raid Tu/Fri/Sun 7-10 CST.

Right now I'm just playing other games and salivating over Enhance looking less cobbled-together-from-scraps come Legion.

Well they finally improved naval missions. So now my 2 day missions with 98% success rate might still fail, but perhaps now my ships won't be getting obliterated constantly.

Yeah I get it, BoberFett was in the same situation, filthy horde.

I'm the same with my group, I'd rather unsub for a bit than change groups, but we're close enough we're fighting through it and recruiting. Some of the peeps are heroic ready but not mythic ready.

With the long drought we're just going to power through heroics and gear people up. Gives us time to crack our current group into shape. They are good people and I want to raid with them but need to pick it up about 10%. We can coach that up easily enough.

Got a good but slightly undergeared lock and good resto shammy this week so we only need a few more slots +/- attendance. Give me hope.

I'm completely shocked at the lack of puggers wanting/capable of mythic, speaks volumes to the loss of the player base.

We raid fri/sat this week.

We're easily capable of doing at least the first 4 bosses on M in my raid group, but they're dragging their feet till they down H Archi for some reason. I've been unsuccessfully arguing that with some Mythic level pieces in the mix armor/weapon-wise, we'll have it EASIER to down H Archi.
Meh.
This happened in SoO, too. We got 8/12 on Mythic, then everyone quit till WoD. I had to get my M Hellscream kill in a pug on another server =/

Sure, but the % doing heroic is much higher, so there should be a pool of people wanting to get in. Also, the 2 of the big hurdles of getting into mythics is gone with raid finder and x-realm.

I'm sure there are plenty of 13/13 heroic guilds out there who have people wanting to do mythics.

In the next version of the Legion Alpha, we’re adjusting the Human racial ‘Every Man for Himself’ to only remove stun effects. The racial will share a 30 second cooldown with other similar effects.

Due to the changes to PvP gear and the introduction of PvP talents in Legion, the Warlords of Draenor implementation of Every Man for Himself no longer makes sense. So instead, we’re trying out an implementation that functions similar to Will of the Forsaken. It will only break Stun effects, but won’t trigger the full 2-minute cooldown on your Gladiator’s Medallion ability (which is the Legion version of the current Medallion trinkets).

As always, this change isn't final, and we’re looking for feedback from testers once they’ve had some time with it. Please feel free to share your initial thoughts on this here, and for Alpha testers, take your feedback to the Alpha general discussion forum.
