PSA, not sure if it's been mentioned before, but apparently the Dancer trait taught by the Supreme Manual of Dance does not "fully" counter Danger Zones. I.e., sending a follower with the Dancer trait on a Danger Zones mission generally won't give you a 100% success rate.

Learned this the hard way the other night when I sent a Dancer follower on a mission for an epic gear upgrade mission, plopped him on the team and clicked send without double checking the mission success rate :/

Kind of annoying since you have to pay attention to which followers have Dancer, because they'll show up in the list on the left as countering Danger Zones without any indication that it's only a partial counter.

Apparently, the Master Plan addon has taken the route of not counting the "Dancer" trait as a proper counter to Danger Zones, so I might have to start using that.

Just use master plan. It makes the garrison much more manageable.

On a side note, I feel quite empty now that I have reached my 1 million mark. I'm already at 1 million 15k but now I don't know what to do. I think I'm developing Affluenza.

And it's hard to recruit a scavenger without an inn

I like the ability to select followers to give you 100%, and the counters to show what you have and what your other traits could possibly roll into, but dear god this addon is a mess. It's gotten WAY too cluttered.

I would agree, I think the last update went too far. Still good, but too much.

Lupi, its definitely an addon, drove me nuts the first time I had that happen. Disable all and turn them on one at a time.

Once you have leveled a building it's not -that- terrible swapping them. Most don't require lvl 3 for the better benefits (inn being the big exception). Even when they nerf scavenging I'm sure I could afford to swap once a week or two.

Protip: swap to the inn on monday, get your follower, wait until reset, get a second, then build your original building.

At the start I remember thinking "who'd be crazy enough to use garrison resources for their seal?! That's insane, resources are so valuable."

Now, that's all I use to get my weekly seals. lol. I did fail a 87% mission this morning for 1250 resources though. That was a bummer.

Be careful as destroying the barracks means that you'll lose the 25-follower cap. So, you'll have to disable 5 followers and then re-enable them later. You can only re-enable followers once per day and it costs 250g each time.

I generally get 1 seal from warmill, 1 from resources and 1 from apheix
sometimes 2 from resources if im close to cap

think im sitting at 9600 right now
need to buy some stuff at the T-post

I haven't bothered with seals, the ones i've gotten through missions and war mill have always given me 20-30g, i have shit luck with RNG

Wait, isn't the Barracks a large building and the Inn is a medium building? Can you build medium buildings on large plots? I didn't even think to try that.

Hm... good point... he mentioned the wrong building type. But no, I'm pretty sure you have to use the right building type regardless of whether the building is smaller than the plot size.

I have had little success selling farm mats over the long term. Whether it be ore, leather, or de mats...the margins don't ever seem to be good enough to merit the time sink in acquiring them.

yup that was my bad. I don't know why I mixed those two up. can always remove the trading post. I don't really use it for anything but resources.

I had 400k from MOP when I did the herb shuffle. The last 600k was almost 100% from garrisons and profession cooldowns.

Cool downs? I thought the cool downs were for the soulbound mats used to make stuff. Maybe I have completely misunderstand how to use the new professions.

At level 100 you can upgrade to level 3 garrison, which is this:

2 large buildings
2 medium buildings
3 small buildings
mine
herb plot
pet battles
fishing hut

You use your profession CDs to make gear and sell it. He's either using their mats his CDs, and crafting on demand or he's buying/farming mats and making even more profit.

Every garrison level upgrade gives more plots. Level 3 garrison is 3 small, 2 medium, 2 large and the unchangable locations (herb, mine, fish).

One big thing about the level 3 upgrade is that it's 2000 resources and 5000 gold. So, make sure to save up for it. I usually have around 4000 resources at level 100 and that's mostly with just rares and treasures. So, you should be fine.
