Yeah I'm in no hurry to buy at all. There's still 20 days left on my sub. Apparently after talking in trade chat I'm a 1%er when it comes to WoW gold lol.

Did think of one thing that may make token sales useful. If you wanted to start a new char or a realm, or you are coming back after being out awhile and starting on a new realm with your boost, you could sell a token for gold on the new realm, buy one for gold on the old, and in effect you paid $5 for a gold transfer.

I figure that with enough garrison work, and if I spend time working up a few Treasure Hunter-equipped followers, I can easily make enough gold to sustain buying two tokens per month. I don't sell any tradeskill items, and I've gone from having maybe 150k at the start of the expansion (across all characters) to having around 380k.

Tokens are up to 23,887g right now according to wowtoken.info. Time to sell is less than 30 minutes, whereas yesterday it was "between 2 and 12 hours".

I bought a 6th one last night at just over 20k (I have a problem with odd-numbers of things, so having 5 in my inventory was bugging me!). Looks like that may have been the right decision.

Will be interesting to watch, I still think the final "resting price" is going to be north of the original 30k and will fluctuate with new content patches and stuff -- people buying additional upgrades, new tier of BoE's, etc.

Last I saw it rebounded from the low just above 20k and was almost at 25k again.

Was too crapy reading through the notes to want to post anything yet. Most of the armor models are meh. Access to the new area requires a level 3 garrison (you know, that optional thing). Class nerfs, warlock being one of the worst. Just not a lot of excitement and about nothing geared to current player complaints.

just the PTR, bud

Yeah I just figured that out, I was seeing patch notes from last night, then all the 6.2 info and another post saying the servers were down for patching...

So last night was a hotfix, what's in the patch today?

Those trinket procs look like they could get out of hand, it's basically an extra tier bonus.

It's funny, now that I can play WoW essentially for free via WoW Tokens, I'm less inclined to play. It's like there used to be a psychological need to justify the $15/month I paid for the subscription. Now that it's gone, I find the game less fun somehow.

We have plans for a catch-up for alts in 6.2 that are not yet visible on the PTR.

Raids and Dungeons
Blackrock Foundry
General
The health and damage scaling of aspects of several encounters on Normal and Heroic difficulties have been adjusted to make them less punishing for smaller raid groups, to account for reduced availability of external cooldowns and the larger relative portion of the group that must deal with certain mechanics. Overall, these changes should make the encounters easier for groups with closer to 10 raiders, while having little noticeable effect for groups with closer to 30 players.
Kromog
Stone Breath now deals up to 20% less damage on Normal and Heroic difficulties.
The Blast Furnace
Foreman Feldspar, Security Guards, Bellows Operators, Firecallers, and Engineers now have up to 15% less health on Normal and Heroic difficulties.
Blackhand
The damage over time dealt by the Impaled effect has been reduced by up to 30% on Normal and Heroic difficulties.
Blackhand now has up to 10% less health on Normal and Heroic difficulties.

As we get started testing Patch 6.2 on our public test realms, we’re looking forward to discussing all of the new features and content coming to World of Warcraft. First up, we’re excited to present Timewalking.

In Patch 6.2, we’re introducing seven different weekend events that will run from noon Friday through noon Monday every week. Two of those events will be Timewalking weekends, in which you’ll be able to queue up for a randomly selected old-school dungeon with a new sort of “heroic” difficulty: When you Timewalk these dungeons, you’ll find that your character’s power and gear has been scaled down to a fraction of what they normally are. For the first time in years, some dungeons you outgrew long ago will once more put your skills to the test.

A good challenge deserves a good reward, so to go along with scaling you down, we’re going through most every piece of loot in each Timewalker dungeon and scaling it up. That’s right, when you Timewalk through Utgarde Pinnacle, take down King Ymiron, and loot his Red Sword of Courage, it will scale up to an item level appropriate for use at your level.

Over the coming weeks, we’ll test Timewalking on the PTR in the following dungeons:
The Arcatraz
Black Morass
Mana-Tombs
The Shattered Halls
The Slave Pens
Ahn’kahet: The Old Kingdom
Gundrak
Halls of Lightning
The Nexus
Utgarde Pinnacle

Timewalking will be available to characters who are level 71 and higher for Burning Crusade content, and level 81 and up for Wrath of the Lich King dungeons. It will open up only during certain three-day-long weekend holidays. While Timewalking, your power will be adjusted down to the level of the Heroic dungeon, but you’ll retain all of your skills and talents. We will also be testing additional rewards, such as a level 100 quest that rewards one Seal of Tempered Fate per weekend, so keep an eye on the in-game calendar.

Patch 6.2 PTR testing is underway! You can get started testing with us by copying your character and downloading the PTR client. Once you've had a chance to try out the patch, visit our PTR Discussion forum to talk about your experiences. To report any issues or errors, use the in-game Submit Bug feature (found under Game Menu > Help > Submit Bug) or visit the PTR Bug Report forum.

Anyone notice problems with the addon ui?

Have been unable to use the enable all/disable all buttons for my characters.

Also for some reason I was getting a scarlet cathedral dungeon achievement when logging in yesterday.

who all is looking forward to timewalking the Shattered Halls?

/wrists

The only reason SH was a PITA was the lack of AoE threat for most tanks, only paladins had it and most people didn't understand paladins could tank coming from vanilla.

<---prot paladin in BC. Shattered halls was simple, and you missed the real PITA instance from that xpack, Shadow Labs. However, I think they removed a ton of mobs from there and other stuff that made it easy (removed a guy that feared).

It'll be interesting if the time walker dungeons are as hard as they were in current gear.

Forge of Souls and Halls of Reflection... Grim Batol and Stonecore could be interesting.

Got Garona on my primary alt. Tried re-rolling her 16 times to get another Treasure Hunter Garona like my main. No dice.

Also, been waiting forever for Breaching the Barrier to pop up so my alts can get Harrison Jones. Getting annoyed by that RNG.

The timewalking could be fun, hopefully they'll be adequately challenging. Facerolling 5-mans is fun, but it's nice to have to use some tactics sometimes as well.
