So in WoD I made my fortune at the beginning with the darkmoon card/trinkets and then item upgrade items.

My mains are

Incript/Ench
Tailor/Ench
JC/BS

What would you recommend? Going to have at least 2 more max level toons with the 100 boost and DH. Thinking of dropping my second enchant as well.

I've had my account deactivated for the last year and a half, thinking about returning to at least check out the new expansion.


What is the best PvP server to start back on as alliance, or horde for that matter? East coast data-center preferably.

Don't think it makes much difference anymore with all the xrealms. I'm on wildhammer and have blocked isle of conquest and av cause horde dont win those. i'd like to block temple too, and the gold mine one. The others we can win when we try

about 18K away, but haven't tried for crystals in months other than the odd garrison mission, but haven't seen any since the patch.

I got mine by doing the ship missions over and over for months till I had enough, lol.

I've been completing the tanaan dailies and some garrison/ship stuff here and there. The dailies are ~4k/day or so. Guessing 5 days left.

Anyone have a tip on tracking down the elites that drop the partially digested bag in Nagrand?

i'm sure it won't be that bad. I'm leveling with affliction, it's pretty good but the lack of burst gets a bit strange. Destro didn't seem as interesting but i'll try it again soon...can't believe anyone thinks it doesnt have burst...chaos bolt??!?.

chaos bolt costs 2 shards now, destro has very little burst vs what it used to have, it also has zero AOE. but ok 2 target cleave with the perm havoc

Aff now has the best AOE if you spec for it but zero ability to target swap effectively, same with demo, both have 20+ second ramp up times and will be useless in 5 mans

I just hit 100 on my shaman last week and felt absurdly weak and useless as elemental in 645-650 gear.

A lot of classes lost their burst. Destro can still burst quite a bit if it is required but it will sacrifice overall DPS. For example if Destro is at 4 shards it can still get out 3 Chaos bolt with Conflag, CB,CB,Conflag,CB. That's quite a bit of burst.

no doubt its the scaling, but

My elemental shaman is 703 and doesn't really have issues killing things, but we're talking about a 50 ilvl difference

Cataclysm adds some good AOE + Rain of fire, added to havoc is decent imo. Granted i'm not 100 yet..AFF is mainly seed > corruption AOE right?

Burst seems just fine to me overall - seen rogues, warriors, shaman all do amazing burst since the 7.0. A rogue using exsanguinate just about 1 shotted a demon elite in tanaan throne objective, couldn't believe it.

yea the seed talent (sow the seeds) + effigy and one of the artifact talents (soul flame maybe?) that increases damage when things die make burst AOE somewhat insane for aff at the cost of boss damage - or you could just play a fire mage and do almost the same AOE damage and still have very good boss damage

Mage huh? never really played one, possible boost...either that or a shaman cause i enjoy healing and only have a holy pal right now.

I can't tell you for legion but IMO having at least 1 enchanting on your roster is worth it. A second? Probably not which im gonna change for my alt.
