A buddy says it's about 1.5 million xp from 70-71. Quests give about 20k. I figure with kill xp figured in, that's about 50 quests.

lol the queues are horrible. I'm in a 750 person queue for Alleria right now (damn me being tired and I think slightly sick (actually sick, I took vacation to get these days off )).

Also, I donno if I'm a little surprised that you've never heard of Athene. He holds the record for fastest leveling from 1-70 (used the instance exploit trick). In his videos, he typically tries to come across as cocky and stuff... it's kind of amusing in a twisted sort of way.

Has anyone had issues with their disc?

Mine spins and spins without ever mounting. I tried it in another machine, with MacDrive installed and the mac side of the disc mounts right away. With MacDrive disabled for that drive, it goes back to spin, spin, spin.

And they'll only get worse as the weekend gets closer.

I wonder how many people are actually playing and how many are bots / just logging into sit and 3d chat spam the trade chat channels.

Someone on the wow forums suggested if you're not 70 or a DK then you should log out.

Huh. Kept trying taking the disc out and putting it back in. Finally worked on about the 8th or 10th try.

Installed, updated and now I've got a damned queue. QQ queue queue.

I hate to say it guys but I think the complainers really screwed up something that we all did not appreciate with BC. Everyone complained 'oh noes you have made my T3 useful by a quest green!' but now look where we are. I don't even see any items in the first few dungeons that are going to be worth using much less quest rewards. And that means this expansion, at least the first half of it, is going to be just another xp/gold farm. Ugh.

Am I alone in this? Do you not feel like you're missing something when every single quest is a search for the most profitable gold return?

Someone else dinged 80 last night, and didnt get banned for it, so he is the legit 1st i guess, Some french dude. that paly that did it got reverted back to 70 lolololololol

few people on my server hit 75 last night, few in guild were 74 this morning, highest lvl DK on the server is in my guild and was 67 when i loged off last night


im not even 71 yet lol

A lot of people were complaining that their level 60 epic gear was being replaced VERY quickly by greens/blues in Outland. This time around that isn't going to happen. The quest/dungeon setup is, for the most part, laid out to help out the guy who just dinged 70 while the average/above average BC raider won't get to see much in the line of quest and dungeon upgrades until mid 70s +.

I just miss being able to upgrade myself a couple of pieces a level like in BC. As it is now I just pick the most profitable vendor item from the reward list and continue on my merry way.
