One negative aspect is that if you skip any bosses, you won't get the achievement and I don't think wowprogress does partial achievements?

Looks like Anubis said you can sort by kills rather than achievements, so I may have to look at that.

EDIT 2:

Hmm I don't think it's still possible. I sorted via encounter and it still shows us as having nothing when we've obviously killed bosses.

Killed General Vezax last night. Turned out he's surprisingly easy once people found out you're suppose to run away from shadow crash. >_< Only Sara left now.

According to blue the hamsters are off running again.

They also have a post about the equipment manager coming "soon". Possibly another mini patch?

Nah, I think that'd be a revision level patch (3.1.2) rather than a umm... well I guess adding a letter on the end is technically a revision level patch too, but a smaller revision . Since the scheme is typically major.minor.revision. Something with that much of a feature set seems too large for a rinky-dinky letter patch.

Updated Argent Tournament Mounts

In an upcoming minor patch, faction mounts offered by vendors on the Argent Tournament grounds will have their visual appearances improved. You will find that the mounts being offered will better match the colors of the faction you chose to represent. Mounts already purchased at the Argent Tournament will automatically be replaced with the updated mounts when this patch goes live.

The ten mounts using the original tournament look will then be available for purchase from Argent Tournament vendors for 5 Champion?s Seals and 500 gold (faction discounts apply). To purchase these original mounts at the Argent Tournament, players must be either members of, or exalted with, the corresponding faction.

Equipment Manager Coming Soon

That's right, it's back! When enabled from the Interface Options menu, this feature will allow players to store sets of equipment, easily swap between saved sets using hotkeys, and pull items directly from backpacks or bank slots (must be at the bank to equip inventory from the bank).

so when did the mage slow fall become castable on other people? i just went to use it on myself after going over a cliff and hit the ground before realizing it didn't cast when i selected it

besides the hrode guy selling the dig rat recipe, he also seems to have a limited amount of the rats to sell.

I guess I just don't get it. But the Valiant fights are just too hard for me. Don't know what I'm doing wrong. Just can't seem to get a win. Here's what I do;
1) charge my defend up the full 3
2) charge my target
3) shadow and melee to death
3a) keep defend up full

Everyone I talk to and every place I go to on the intarwebs point this as being the easiest strategy. But yet I'm losing every single match.

Do Druids Duel???

I stay in melee, shield break them when they run away, run back into range with them before they can shield break *me*, melee again, repeat till victory

Do Druids Duel???

Before you go in, charge up to 3 stacks of shields on yourself. Start fight, and immediately throw your shield and get in his face. Watch your shield and make sure you have 3 stacks, start smashing the 1 button until he moves way, throw shield again. When you see red shields around him, it means it's time to charge up his ass. Move away, charge his ass and immediately throw shield afterward. Repeat.

Difficulty Adjustments to Ulduar

There are some high stamina, 2-handed maces in the game currently. However, 2 handed weapons are not in the immediate future going to be given tanking statistics. Player versus Player
Arena Balance
? 1) Players tend to over-emphasize whatever makes the strongest case for themselves. We do have Arena teams beyond 2s and 2s are probably always going to be the trickiest to balance.
? 2) Even if we do nothing, comps tend to change over time. Players develop counter strategies and new fotms roll around. That isn't an excuse to do nothing, but it is worth keeping in mind.
? 3) We let DK and pally stay dominant too long last season. Rogue - priest looks like it is heading the same way. We don't think it's good for the pvp game for such comps to be so dominant.
? 4) We are happy with both classes in PvE. Any changes would just be for PvP reasons. Glyphs are a good place to look.
? 5) I would like to personally request that you chill any "QQ got us nerfed" rhetoric. We'd much rather focus on the classes in question and not our decision making process.

Strands of the Ancients coin toss
The plan is to implement the virtual coin toss at the beginning of the match randomizing which faction starts on defense in an upcoming patch. This was originally slated for 3.1 but had to be pushed back. Other temporary fixes for the issue would take just as long to implement, if not result in the same issues caused by randomizing offense/defense that came about in Beta. (Source)

Equipement Manager and new Argent Tournament mounts
These improvements had been in the works already. We have a hierarchy of things that must make a patch and things that we can add in later. We often utilize the smaller patches (when we can) to implement things that either needed further testing or needed additional time. Large patches often have many interconnected items sewn within the technology and the way we want things to work that make some aspects absolutely necessary to implementing the patch as a whole. Smaller patches can and do happen as we need them to in order to better support the larger patches either by implementing a starting framework, implementing bug fixes, or adding new elements that can stand on their own.

We definitely have a schedule (internal) that we are working from and are doing what we can to keep on that schedule as much as possible. Things like this,often have less impact on the release of large content patches.

Argent Tournament Mounts clarifications
The current mounts in the game are being updated to the new look. If you already purchased a mount from the Argent Tournament vendor by the time this minor patch goes live, your mount will be updated with the new look automatically. The cost for the updated mounts (new look) will be 100 Champion's Seals. [...] Just to clarify on this point, the new ways of obtaining Champion's Seals will not be added until the next major content patch (not the minor content patch referenced in the original post of this thread). Hmmmm, sent in a ticket about so many of my chars talent points being fubared, and I don't see an email from blizz this morning. Either they are at the point of blowing these type of reports off, or they are really backlogged with tickets.

The 25 man fight is easymode if you kill the big guy first, then middle, then small. Only the big guy hits hard at all, and that's easily dealt with by rotating cooldowns and being quick to dispel fusion punch.

I think they were attempting the hard mode So far I haven't seen many reports from guilds completing this mode with Steelbreaker last on 25 man.

When we killed him 10 man it was big guy down first, was a rather uneventful fight.

I'm liking these changes, hopefully it adds some speed to the run so we can at least attempt all the bosses.

I can't believe they're nerfing Kologarn and XT... those fights were so easy to begin with, and I really liked the idea of XT has a dps check so people didn't just skip right over Naxx like people skipped T4 content after the SSC/TK attunements were dropped.

Im curious what everyone's raid comp is for 10 man Ulduar.

We start off 2 Tanks (Prot Warrior, Feral Druid), Melee DPS (Arms Warrior, Enh Shaman, DK, Rogue), Ranged DPS (Mage, Warlock) and 2 Healers (Resto Shaman, Holy Pally).

We 1 shot the 1st 4 bosses, but found Kologarn and Iron Council to be particularly unfriendly to 2 healers and end up swapping arms warrior's main for his disc priest alt. Beyond the 1st 4 bosses, in Uld 10, do you all see 3 healers as a necessity?

I sent a ticket in for my warlock and got the talent reset in couple hours. Then I went to Ulduar on my priest on tuesday, get in vehicle for flame levithan and when we get to XT, half of my talent point got reset. /sigh
