Here the setup it's ECS KLM7 Motherboard I think not at home right now to check, it has a 1gig duron, 512mgs of ram a 48x CD-rom and 48X16X48 burner (Digital reasearch) I installed nero that came with it but when I burn a cd it only says 24X when the media says 40X I'm wondering what it could be the ATAPI drivers or what, it shouldn't take 20 minutes to burn? I know the read might not be the best and that the single channel isn't the greatest but I also have the same setup on my backup machine and it burns cd in half the time.
It's on the same channel as the reader and I'm running win2000 SP3.
