There's gotta be a wire or fuse to pull
if that's the case, why not pull it now...i'd rather have functioning brakes than a fake diff on the track

I bet it uses the ABS system, pull the ABS-related fuse(s) and you should be good to go.
Disclaimer: NEVER DO THIS, YOU WILL EXPLODE IN A BALL OF MURDER-FIRE!
Haha. Not really funny but his break pedal sank to the floor at buttonwillow after a long straight. He said he was going 100+ mph and he had a noobie as a passenger for a ride along.
Let's just say the passenger was not smilling when they got back.
Disabling abs...interesting. hell just have to pump the brakes 100x/sec to prevent locking up
hmm, good point about abs. i know i definitely wouldn't want to turn it off on a track at my skill level. so, the dilemma remains. either a mechanical diff & no abs, or a fake diff & overheating brakes.
oh man, there was a v8(LS3) miata running with us as well. sounded incredible, but clearly had trouble putting the power down even with hoosiers. i imagine wheel width was limited.
it was being co-driven by a 22yo girl
