Athlon 1.2Ghz Multiplier

I have an Athlon 1.2Ghz (266 Bus) and I wanted to change the multiplier via the BIOS, however, it does not let me change the multiplier. It is physically unlocked on the chip, and my system is set for Jumperless config. My system specs are below. I pushed the sytem up to 1.35Ghz with the fsb pretty stable, and i could probably go slightly higher with the Multiplier, but it is grayed out. I have the latest BIOS version for my motherboard (see below). What do I do to change the multiplier?

Are you sure it is unlocked? If it is really unlocked, then you might try manually changing the multiplier with dip switches.

You'll probably have to mod the L10 bridges. They have two positions - one gives multipliers up to 12.5* and the other gives higher multipliers. My guess is that you tried 13* (from default 12* ?). Or, simply, the L1's are not properaly unlocked. See this guide.

Yes the L1s are unlocked. I had already checked that. I did not check the L10s, but my multiplier is set to 9.5, and even if my L10s are wrong, it should then let me go up to 12. And it won't even let me go lower, the field is rayed out in the BIOS. Also, the DIP switches dont seem to let me set it higher than it is. I have to do it via the BIOS.
