Athlon 64 3000+, 1gig Corsair XMS, 6800gt.. 430w PSU enougH?

My rig will consist of:

Athlon 64 3000+ 939pin
512mb x 2 Corsair XMS PC3200
6800GT OC AGP
Two hard drives
two optical drives
Audigy 2

Will my current Antec Truepower 430w PSu hold up to this? Or should I shoot for 500+w?

your going to do fine man...like z2akuma said. Most ppl would agree with me that for your system, needs at least 18 amps or more on the 12v rail. But nonetheless, antec is a well known name brand.

That's more than enough to sufficiently make your system fly ! !

your psu will be fine, but dont expect to play modern games with 512mb of ram.

512MB x 2 = 1GB

If you calculate the power, it comes to about 600W So the ratings are probably for peak output.
But that ps unit is more than sufficient for the system.

As long as your not on a DFI-MoBo U might be ok. If Ure on an DFI-MoBo goto the street and pick one from the A-list.
