Athlon 64 or not yet?

I was gonna get a 3200/K8V/1gb Corsair LL last month. But decided to wait till 939.
Ive changed my mind again, and im gonna use the money for an iBook and upgrade my main rig in Q3-Q4, when the 64bit platform has settled down a bit.

AWW Crap sold out already, lol. I would certainly check around on other prices for it at that price though.

You sure the 5900XT is faster ? I thought that was debatable when AA/AF and Directx9 is considered ?

I'm also considering building an Athlon64 system, but since I don't really need it I'm kinda waiting for the new version and also for a motherboard/chipset that is really outstanding, although if a person wanted a system right now I don't think the current crop is terrible or anything. It's an area I haven't researched too thoroughly so someone please correct me if there is an outstanding motherboard now.

I would definitely get the Mushkin PC3500 Level 1 in a 1GB Pair, this stuff use to cost $188 about a month ago, but people learned that with a little more voltage its almost as good as the Level 2 stuff (which cost a heck alot more), the price has gone up. So get it while its cheap!
