This was more of a side grade for me, I wanted to upgrade my wife's rig to duel core (or rather, it seemed like a good idea with these so cheap!) so instead I sent the manchester 3800+ over to her PC and put this in mine.

10-12 hours duel prime stable at 2500 and some change mhz, 1.35v. I backed it off to 2500 even for daily use. Runs a lot cooler then the manchester...seemed to be topping out at 43c whereas the manchester ran low 50c IIRC. I did have the door off though.

Oh, btw. I had instant prime fail at 2640mhz and default volts (1.35v) and 1.375v. I could probably squeeze more out of this guy without to much trouble but 2.5 is good enough for me.

After teetering between this route or getting an AM2 + new mobo + new DDR2 ram, I finally decided it seems more practical to extend the life of this 939 with a cheap cpu upgrade & some more ram, to wring another year or 18 months out of this box.

For me, better to wait for awhile to see what happens when Barcelona/Phenom or Penryn. are out.

I'm in for one to replace my Winchester 3200+ & I completely agree that it's wiser to go in on this now for so cheap to extend the life than to full out upgrade. Heck I'm still running an AGP 6800GT.

I've got mine running at 2.8 with the stock fan. Paired with at 7900GT, I can play Supreme Commander at 1600x1050- proof it's got plenty of power

Ive got mine at 2.5ish and the PATA drives are starting to act up so backed off to stock, this MSI nf4SLIF has never been as stable as id liked it to be but its lasted a longtime so i shouldnt complain.

Well I'm not too happy with my new AMD Athlon 64 4200+ X2 now that I've got it installed and a week working with it. But since I've overclocked it I can't RMA it, so, oh well.
