Athlon II X4 / Phenom II X4 840 (Propus) stock voltage overclocking?

I am eyeing the Phenom II X4 840 CPU/mobo combo for $100 at Microcenter, link.

The funny thing is that the Phenom II X4 840 has nothing to do with the old Phenom II X4 800 series CPU's. There is 0MB L3 cache instead of 4MB L3 cache. They could have just called it the Athlon II X4 650, since it is 100 MHz faster than the Athlon II X4 645.

Anyone have a Propus core, whether it is an Athlon II X4 620 to 645 or a Phenom II X4 840? How high can you clock the CPU without raising the voltage? Reviews suggest that 3.2GHz or 3.3GHz is as high as it will go at stock voltage but this is based off of earlier Athlon II X4's manufactured in 2009. When I OC, I don't like to raise the voltage at all, because I'm shooting for efficiency and maximum performance per watt rather than the highest absolute level performance. If the limit is still in the 3.2GHz range nowadays, then the Phenom II X4 840 can't really be OC'd much from its stock 3.2 GHz clock speed.

My Athlon II x3 440 gets about 3.4GHz at stock voltage, I run it 24/7 at 3.5GHz with the smallest voltage increment (0.125?) bump. Anything above that and it's hard to keep stable at any voltage. Bought it in the winter of last year.

I have my Athlon II 640 at 3300 without anyother changes and it runs smooth. I'm sure some will go higher but the chip will run prime95 forever and any other stress test.
