TankGuys could ship in 2-3 days. CheapGuys has stock on hand now that should ship this afternoon. Sorry, but I am impatient.

The page still shows they have 8 more in stock (and it updated from 9 after I purchased).

Same here. I'm running an Athlon Thunderbird 800Mhz w/200Mhz FSB and PC133 RAM.
I've wanted dual procs for YEARS now and this just pushed me over the limit.

Been saving for YEARS to do this.

And in two years from now, as innovative as AMD is as a company, if they don't start charging a sizeable premium for their high-end, they might not be in business any longer. The same thing Intel's been doing for ages. And then there's always the reasonably priced X2 3800+ at $375. Anyway, it's nice to see all of AMD's hard work finally paying off in a big way.

will love to multitask but $250 more hahaha ill have to put more hours @ work
i had money to buy but i bought a Asetek cooling kit but ill need to overclock the crap out of X2 wish there was Nforce 4 AGP

when up a bit in price last time i check it was $525
