Just ordered 2 they do show for $109.00 on the description but, went into the cart for $69.99. Order summary, conformation, and Tracking show $69.99 price.

I have been reluctant to replace the Durons in my Tiger MP but, for this price how could I not.....

BTW: Will the SVC GC-68s from the hot deal earlier this week cool these babies OK??

I am currently using the SVC GC-68s on my outpost xp2000+. I upped the FSB to 140 and it is running at 40-42 celcius idle.

You didn't miss it get them at nexfan for $5.99. The don't list them as GC-68s but they are the same thing !!

If you want to overclock you might want to get the AX-7....

If you plan on using the GC-68 with this CPU, I would definitely recommend you upgrade the fan. I replaced the stock SVC with the YS-Tech 48.5CFM fan. It dropped my temps by 4C at idle and over 7C at stress. It adds $8 to the price of the cooler but you also have a nice spare 80mm case fan, also.

I just got my shipping confirmation as well and it still shows $69.99. Too late to change the price now as far as I'm concerned. I should've opted for overnight for an extra .80¢, but my head was spinning while I was ordering. I think I'm better off this way anyway because I don't have time to mess with it until the weekend and this will hopefully extend my warranty period a little by not getting it today.

I've found through multiple orders that Outpost is quite good about honoring orders placed in situations like this. Earlier this year I got a P4 1.5 - ECS mobo combo for $139 using a link from a thread in this forum when the price had actually gone up to $199. They not only honored the lower price they even replaced it at the lower price when I had an RMA problem instead of just refunding me my money. I've had two other similar situations like this with them and they always handled it in my favor and in a professional manner.

This is definitely a great deal for those that were able to get it. A little clarification, however, on the Newegg 1600+ for 52.99 (current price). This is a great deal for overclockers. Most of the people that bought this cpu with the AGOIA-Y core was able to overclock to XP 2100+ and higher without having to unlock the cpu. My son had a XP2000+ AGOIA and was not able to go beyond XP2100+ (unlocked) and had to contend with very high cpu temps. He sold the XP2000 on eBay. He then bought a 1600+ from newegg, got a AGOIA-Y week 13, and was able to overclock to 1904MHz (XP2300+) without unlocking. So it appears the newegg 1600+ overclocks higher than the 2000+.

Schwan, get the newegg 1600+ since you will be overclocking. A better deal IMO.

Well, mine is the AGOIA core 2000+. I have yet to overclock it past 1750Mhz(2100+ speeds), but after my arctic silver sets up (couple of days) I'll see what this thing can do. Currently its between 42-44C.

The nice CSR said she cannot adjust the price but will have a Stupidvisor call me back
