I'm thinking if a retail version comes with a fan and heat sink AND a three year warranty for just a little more money it might be worth it....thanks....

That's more than a few bucks.... Just get theOEM CPU for $69 and the $6 HSF mentioned earlier in this thread and be happy. The OEMs have a 30 day Warranty from outpost and 1 year warranty from AMD... Odds are you won't even own this CPU in a Year (let alone 3.)
