Make sure you pay attention to what cooling they used for the overclocks. Tom used water cooling and I assume pelts for a higher overclock where the temp was -41. So unless you're willing to switch from air cooling those results don't apply to you.

Oh, I've been willing to switch to water for a while now... Just have been waiting for a nice package cause I don't want to be bothered with building my own cooling system.

check out hardocp. they aircooled one to 2.5ghz.

Several other sites also claim to have aircooled the Athlon XP 2600+ to 2.4GHz or more, with the Thermalright SLK-800, Thermaltake Volcano 7, some Taisol cooler with a high speed 80CFM Delta fan and Thermalright SK6(?) as their coolers. Sounds pretty impressive to me.
