AthlonXP 2100+ t-bred: OEM or retail

ok, i decided to get a 2100+ to replace my aging 1700+ chip (joke!) and to push the limits of the overclock a little further. i was just going to get the OEM chip for $88 when i noticed that the retail is $93.50. $5.50 more and you get a 3 year warranty and a shitty HSF. i think that is a pretty darn good deal. but i wanted to doublecheck if people are getting t-bred B good revisions from retail packages as they are with the OEMs. thanks!

edit: forgot to mention--i'm getting it at newegg (does anyone else sell computer stuff? hehehe)

if you're interested in overclocking, you'll want to know the production date of the chip.

excaliburpc.com sells their cpu's with guaranteed dates, and their resellerratings are good

but remember, once you overclock, your warranty is voided...so i'd say go for OEM

I picked up a retail one from newegg... My memory is holding me back (2x256 crucial 2100) but I'm running at 133X15 (2GHz) at default voltages at 38c.
