ATI 8500dv AIW clearance

Dunno if this is at all COMPUSA stores but I just bought an ATI AIW 8500dv- in store- at "clearance" price for $89.95.
I'll bet they're clearing out some of their old vid cards to make way for the new ATI cards I saw there(9600se, 9600, 9200se, etc.). Good luck!

Clearance price of $99.88 ish @ CompUSA in Sacramento, however i did not have them scan it in. (This was on monday) There is 1 left on the shelf in case anyone is interested. (Arden location).

Just picked up the last one in Montclair, CA.

The one I got is a AIW 64MB AGP (don't know if they come with 128MB models, in case this makes it less hot of a deal)

The SKU is #288752 (but it doesn't show up on the website when I type it in).

It may be different from westend's, since mine cost $89.88.

westend: could you confirm the specs on yours? 64MB? AGP?

I just stopped by my local store and they want $249 for it. I had them check the price and they didn't know anything about a clearance price. Also I just checked on the website and they don't even list this card any more.

I have one in one of my machines and it is great, just wanted toi pick up another.

I've been reading about the card, and it looks like it's crippled vs. the standard 8500 in terms of clock and memory speed. Not so good for gaming in it's standard form.

Anyone know of a good place (or perhaps from experience) to learn about overclocking this thing with powerstrip or the likes?
