I came back from the ECTS today and guy on the A.t.i-stand said the card is shipped and should be with stockists in the next few days...!!!

Impressions? Benchmark comparisons to old Video Card (State what card)

Any issues? (It has been said elsewhere, that mainly it is better to re-install if going from another type of Gfx-card!!)

This will help everyone in the UK who is going to buy this card, I have seen it running today and it looks amazing, the technical guy on the stand assured that product compatible with older titles (out of the box).

Everyone who has read about this card, will surely be excited! So I have just started this thread ready for it's arrival, please don't reply to this post unless you HAVE the card, and live in the UK -many thanks. Some oversees customers have had their cards since 22-8-2002!!!!!

Overclocking store have a September 4th date for the ATi 9700 Radeon,link .,it`s very expensive ,I know it`s slightly off topic but other UK members might want to know where and when they`re available.

Thanks Mr Diamond Member!! I was just coming back to post the same information!!

What is interesting is that when you convert US Dollars of $399 to UK pounds, it should only be £257!!

Though let's face it some people are supplying GF4-4600's at £287 (Asus 4600 Deluxe), so it isn't that bad!

Let's watch this grow with interest in the next week!

I wont use Komplett again - they refused to honour my order, a right pain in the rear company and not the cheapest.

And yes, give it a week or 2, and im sure all the major movers will have them, http://www.aria.co.uk/ usually works out cheap on my lists - last order was 4x 60 gig drives from them 3 weeks ago, arrived promtly next day, no billing hassles, all drives worked etc.

Btw I`ve ordered lots of PC hardware from them before,their a decent online site.

good prices you found mem but i would not recommend getting one from overclockers.co.uk from my experiences with them

might just be a one off but this is what happened when i ordered a leadtek winfast twinforce 2:

ordered on the 9th of august online (next day delivery)

waited for like a week

e-mailed them about it, they said they had server problems

i had to e-mail them with order so they could manually sort it out

waited about another week

heard nothing still

i decide to cancel my order as i decide to get the shuttle ss51g and i wont need the nforce motherboard anymore

ring them up asking to cancel my order, the guy said i need to send the first e-mail i got from them with my order code and send it to the sales department with the title 'cancel request' or something, so i send it

waited about 5 days, i hear nothing

ring them up again, the women on the phone who had a terrible cold, and a terrible attitude to match said the e-mail never went through and i sent it to the wrong department, however i managed to cancel it through her.

waited a few more days

rang them up asking how goddamn long they want to take, she said until the end of the week at the latest.

it's gone past the end of the week and it's monday morning still nothing in my bank account

wednesday and i get my money back into my account, however the dickwads forgot to give me my full amount which was supposed to be £180 instead they gave me £108

i ring for ages and ages cause they put me on hold, finally get through telling them there is a mistake and she said she will sort it out

ive ordered lots from then and havnt had any probs whatsoever. if im looking for something, then its my first prot of call, always. i once rung up about a HD that i was considering buying, and the bloke on the other end was extremely helpful.

the only bad thing about OC UK is the terrible music they play when ure on hold.....

I`ve ordered from both overclock.co.uk & overclockers.co.uk (OCuk) and always had good service,I guess they`re only human and can make mistakes,I`ve no problems with ordering from them in the near future .
