I know it's not a good idea but to be honest i didn't care... i didn't want to remove, wait for it to boot again, and re-install the new ones... so i just installed the new ones... and when windows booted i was still on the old drivers, so i removed the old ones through the add/remove programs menu... all is fine now though. if it would have caused problems, a format+re-install is no biggie.. that's why i didn't care.. heh
