And don't worry about having an AXP 3000+. Even with a $200 video card, you'll be video-limited at 1280x1024 and higher when all graphics options are turned on.
Edit: and I'm waiting for these to get a bit cheaper I've seen some x800pro's refurbed for around $160 at other sites, but they sell out quick. (newegg, chiefvalue, etc)
i'd look into the X800 GTO2 which has a lowered clock but 16 pipe instead of 12. And ive read they overclock well to so for 200-225$ you have a x850xtpe if it will clock to them speeds.
