BTW I got this 'friend' at ATI and he was telling me about the R600 & you guys are going to be amazed at the price & the speed! So just wait! It's going to even beat this awesome 1900XTX/ AM2 RD 580 crossfire ES system I got for a really 'great price'. (Maybe I'll give my dual X1800 system to my kids). It rocks Oblivion with great IQ!

Anyway did you see the article on HardOCP about how all the 7900's are dying? Wow I'd stay away from those!

Honestly. ATI already has employees and beta testers around. What form of viral marketing is HR going to implement for them then.

NV employees are "forbidden" to post in forums so some marketing firm with foscus groups actually makes sense. I'm not saying I like their srategy as I understand it.

But, if ATI already has a presence on forums, what is HR going to add?

Yes, you should try it. Has there been a total disclosure on AEGs part? If you're going to say one doesnt, then its only fair to assume both dont.

I see what I want to see? What we know of AEG, is that they are soliciting people on forums, giving hardware for a certain type of posting habit. That much has been proved. We do not know if HR does this, or will do it. We also know that AEG puts on their website, they they do start fires, rumors, leakes, spread misonformation, as well as moderate and infilitrate forums. Again, HR does not.

Earlier I was asked where I lived, and that you're not guilty until proven. Yet now you and others want to slam HR because they use the word "viral" which doesnt even mean anything bad. As I showed with the link. I too thought it was bad when I first read it, until I did a little research. Thats the only common link each website shares that I saw.

Again, if and when HR is proven to use the same tactics that AEG does, I will admit I was wrong, and slam them and anyone in the program with them. Why? Because I think the tactic of bribing people with hardware for a certain type of post, has no place in the forums. There are many other aspects of a PR firm, that are totally legit. HR has not been proven to do any of the things AEG admits to on their site, or has been proven to use in the forums. Until then, I am not going to assume they operate the same way as AEG does. There are many, many PR firms out there for many different types of companies, that go after the same results: Positive Light for their Partner. Yet they do not all go about it the same way. You can be a reasonable guy, why do you want to put HR in the same boat as AEG, when there are no facts to link them together? I wont, unless they are proven to use the same tactics.

Case closed, thread done for me.

Sorry troll but I don't work for any marketing agency or ATi. Only the usual suspects (nVidia zealots) are pointing fingers and trying to lump ATi fans as "viral marketers" because their idol Rollo was burned at the stake awhile back by many here. I disagree with the Trollo (rollo I take it) was the worst as there have been worse and there are three very prominent current ones on Rollos level (don't worry Like I said for the most part I respect you and therefore your not included) but htat is besides the point. I believe I got that out of your post, therefore I am satisfied when it comes to you, if I am wrong please correct me.

There's no apology neccessary because as of now, we have no evidence of any ATi shills engaged in viral marketing on any forum. If we do find any, then I'll gladly partake in getting them booted off these forums as well. Like I said in the AEG thread, shills don't belong here - fanboys sure but definitely not shills.

According to the previous AEG thread and what happened to Rollo and many of us.

you'll need to show us receipt of your purchase. If you cannot show us a copy of your receipt, we'll assume you are HRC.

From there, you will be asked million times to confess.. We'll keep asking you until you finally break down mentally and confess.

Then we'll start a thread with thousands of posts, all of which are curses and personal attacks and pleads to ban you. Anyone who don't side with us will be considered HRC affiliated and black listed in our signature.

after you are banned, we'll start posting "nvidia hot deals" in your signature to balance out Nvidia's lost sales. We'll keep watching for "suspected HRC" members and blacklist/ban them for the next 6 month. During which time, anyone who oppose us will be blacklisted and send vacation.

were you actually here during the AEG outbreak? if you weren't, don't assume. many of us were victims and he was one of the accusers.
