Went into Office Depot tonight and picked up an ATI Radeon 32MB PCI TV OUT (Video Out) - Retail Boxed 100-430098 for $25 and change. Not a bad little card if you're running with a PCI TNT2 or possibly even a GeForce1 and especially for 25 bucks (lowest price I've seen on-line is $39 plus shipping.

It's on clearance (at least at the Southfield, Mi store) so get one quick if you're interested. The cashier bought the last one after he saw me pick mine up.

Geesh, at this price, it would make a great spare card that you can use in PC troubleshooting (checking if a newer vidcard is dead, things of that nature).

Good price. A friend of mine was looking for a cheap decent card with TV out. Once again AT has answered the call for a good deal.

Just got back from the Office Depot in Chicago on North Avenue. They had two on the shelf, with a sticker price of $99. Had the tech rep pricecheck it, rang up as $50, but he knocked it down to $30 for me when I mentioned this thread One on the shelf, but I have a sneaking fealing that it will soon belong to him. Thanks for the heads up!

P.S., if someone here wants this card and I am not happy with the TV out (I have *REALLY* high standards), it's yours for what I paid for it + shipping. PM me if interested. I'm waiting for a 400W PS before I can build that computer.

the tv-out should be alright for playing dvd's or divx files. i am not sure about gaming tho. i think current video cards only support tv-out resolutions of 800x600. when i checked out my desktop when using tv-out, everything was pretty blurry... but playing movies turns out ok.

1. is 100-430098 is sku # or UPC ?

2. a receipt scan will be useful

3. can the card do BOTH tv-out and monitor at the SAME time at different resolution ?

i.e. 800*600 tv and 1024*768 mon

4. can anyone comment on the PCI Radeon if u use it ?

P.S. my geforce MX do crappy tv-out on tv...

I would like to know as well. Also, can I have a GF2 in agp and this in pci and use this card only for tv-out whenever desired?

I bought the this same card last xmas and put it in my girlfriends compaq. Tv-out looks really good with divx, vcd's, dvd's, much better then my Geforce's ever did. And if anybody cares, 3d games look really good, but it's getting kinda old. I get about 2000 in 3dmark 2001se, and I can run all the newest games at 640x480.

It's a great card to turn a agp-less comp into something more useful (like a divx box), but I think you need this card as your primary to use the tv-out. I don't know for sure though.

Nobody has mentioned this as a Secondary card for dual display either.

I have a Matrox G450 (dual-head) with 2 lcd's and it works good, but on my second system all I've got is a Geforce3 TI:200, but I have 2 monitors. I like the 3d performance of the GF3 for games, but I would like to utilize that extra monitor. This would be perfect IMO. Good 2d performance, decent 3d, plus it's PCI (which is what I need).

With all these cheap monitor deals lately, I'd imagine people might consider running a dual display setup. This card would make a good addition to your AGP card.

Just my 2 cents.

I'd like to try this card for a secondary display, but I thought using 2 video cards (both 2d and 3d capable) didn't work (i.e., both cards usually try to be THE primary video card).

The old Voodoo 2's worked well because they only rendered the 3d using the pass-through cable.

If I can't use the card for a secondary display, I'll stick to my original plan for the card and give it as a gift to my nephew
