Will the performance be a big improvement on a PIII-450 with a 2x AGP port or will the card be host-bound? (assuming i get the 64 MB DDR and i have a 32 MB SDR Rage Fury)
I'm looking at the rebate form and it specificaly states "Offer available for ATI TRADE UP PROGRAM Customers only" If Outpost is part of the trade up deal your good to go
Well, Outpost dot com probably wouldn't have the rebate forms if they weren't part of the rebate program. At any rate, Paul from outpost.com said the rebate was valid on these cards purchased from outpost.com
Joe
still waiting on the card.. of course, its sleeting outside and we had freezing rain all night..
I ordered mine from ATI around mid January. Their offer stated 4 to 6 weeks to ship. I received an email from them last week with a UPS tracking number. According to the tracking number it should be here Monday. WoooHooo! Radeon 64 Megs DDR! Look out Quake III!
Ordered mine on jan 23rd and got it on feb 6th. I am lovin it! Cards works great. TV in and out works better than I've ever seen. Only drawback is the fact that I need a new hard drive to store all of the captures.
First of all, there's no $30 Outpost.com coupon - it's a $30 mail-in rebate.
Second, there are two different rebate forms. One is what you get if you order through the trade-up program, the other is valid at participating merchants (like Outpost.com).
Where can I get the $30 off rebate for online retailers? Also, there's 8% sales tax for CA residents for the trade-in deal with ATI which adds $15 to the whole deal.
ATI has recently updated their web site. The fax-in form for the Trade Up Program is there but takes some hunting to find. The new form now correctly reflects CA @ 8% tax.
Outpost.com has a It's Your PayDay ATI $30 ($50 CDN) rebate for a 32 mb MAC Radeon. Do a search for "Radeon". The rebate pdf file clearly states that the It's Your PayDay rebate is for the MAC, not a PC. I see no listing for a rebate for a PC version of the 64 mb Radeon.
Where is the reference to participating merchants?
Someone correct me so I can get this in 2-3 days instead of 3-4 weeks.
I faxed in an order a couple of days ago and haven't heard anything from them. Do they normally acknowledge orders as they're received or do you hear nothing until they ship the card?

Having received the outpost.com "its your payday" rebate form, I can 100% factually say that it is good for all of the pc radeon cards as well as the mac radeon card(s). On the rebate form itself it states the pc cards and the amounts you get back on them..
There are varying levels of cash back if I remember correctly also..
Hey i just recieved my card , it took 1 and a half weeks
How good is the return policy? not the warrenty. say if i stick the card in and it doesnt work can i get a refund? Or if i dont like the card, can i return it for a refund?

From FAQ: How do I return the card if I?m not happy?
We will also include information with the card we ship to you with product return information. Please return your trade-up card within 30 days for refund. That?s no problem.
